Sorry for the sudden post, but I really am in need of donations! Because my city in the UK lack psychiatrists, I'm being refused an assessment for bipolar disorder and I'm being invalidated for it even though for over 1 year I've met the criteria on the DSM-5 and the ICD, I'm in full time education and unable to get a job and I have my A-level exams coming next month and I've been having rapid cycles from mania and depression and it's getting unbearable to live, my only option was to open a gofundme so I can raise £500, this is to cover costs for a private psychiatric assessment and to cover medication so I can see some improvement in my life because no ones supporting me, my GPs unable to do anything for me, I've also been rejected for antidepressants because "medication isn't the solution" even though I've told my doctor numerous times how I've attempted suicide and failed. I also refuse to get hospitalised because I've heard horror stories about the psych wards in this country, on top of that, I want to go to university and I can't afford to flunk these exams because of something I can resolve, yet again I'm sorry for the blast but my mental health is tattered beyond belief and I'm so sick of "rawdogging" life because my mania has gotten worse, on top, my depression has turned me into a vegetable and I'm unable to do anything.
