Thank you for liking them! But no, I don't think Prowl would be romantically in love with Wander. Wander is aromantic asexual, and I'm trying to construct a relationship that doesn't focus on sex or romance. Witness is probably the word. Prowl needs someone to prove that he isn't a lunatic, and Wander happens to understand that.
As for the "acceptable loss" part, I think Prowl is a cold utilitarian who would push one guy onto the tracks to stop the trolley from killing five, while Wander, with some martyr complex, would jump down himself to stop the trolley from killing five. Therefore they come to some weird agreement. Wander would die for Prowl if necessary, but Prowl wouldn't do the same thing for Wander, and they both know it. Yeah, that is them.

If you were to list your favorite characters from the Transformers series, which ones would they be? I'm also very curious how you got into the Transformers series, and which series do you like – movies, comics, etc.?🦾🩵❤️
Thank you for asking! My favorite character in the Transformers series would definitely be Prowl in IDW 2005 comics, that cold and calculating prick 😜 In the same series I also like Thundercracker, Perceptor, and Impactor, etc. Basically my type is complex characters who cannot be defined by black and white.
I got into the Transformers series through the Bumblebee film in the beginning of 2019. After that I went through all the films, Generation 1 cartoon, Transformers: Prime and IDW comics, the last my favorite series. I also joined a Chinese fandom translator group to translate the comics into Chinese, and met some very good friends there.
