In recent years I’ve noticed this disturbing trend of young people fetishising Communism and making it their entire identity. These are people who went to private schools and live in suburbs that are enclaves for those with six figure salaries. People who have never met any immigrants who come from former Communist countries. They have no idea about the mass murder and violence that this ideology perpetrated. But they will hang out on campuses where their parents pay their tuition fee and talk about Marxism. Do you realise how fucking stupid you look?

They don’t want to hear about the crimes against humanity committed by these regimes. They just want to jerk it to that Lady Izdihar chick on Instagram whose been having the longest public psychotic episode. The biggest irony is that the autists who make Communism their entire personality are the children of capitalists. Most of these so called self identified Communists have never even known a hard days work. They work part time in cafes because their parents pay their rent and they don’t have to try. Or they collect welfare from the government they claim to hate, for some illness they’re faking to get out of working. None of these self confessed Marxists are frontline workers. They aren’t out there doing anything to help their community. Like, it’s actually really, really embarrassing guys. It’s always Americans too, people who have literally known nothing but privilege their entire life.

I get that you don’t like your government and want everyone to know. But have you tried being normal about it? Because you can dislike Trump and not make being a Communist/Marxist your entire personality. To the point you’re doing extreme mental gymnastics to argue that the Cultural Revolution was a good thing and that the Red Guards totally weren’t mass murders. I mean why the fuck do you want to associate yourself with an ideology that was backed by someone like Pol Pot. Or do you not even know who that is?
