Sakura the whitetail doe! This commission was a joy to work on and make sure I got a soft, delicate expression. She has big eyelashes to accent the look!

Took a few days to sculpt myself a borzoi mask blank, as a treat, after Anthrocon 🤭 My resin/silicone casting room is still occupied by a temporary housemate (which is also the reason I haven't been able to open for resin cast orders this summer) but hopefully will mold this in Aug when she leaves?
Anyways, once I finish detailing the sculpt and it is molded and ready to go y'all will know. It'll be in the shop for orders, though it'll be a briefer open ordering period than normal because cold temperatures will be creeping up soon after August.
Back to commissions today though, started on the next two and hoping to finish editing photos for the previous two tonight. Keep an eye out for updates and when I open for new commissions - I am nearing the end of my current queue so hoping to open for new clients in late Aug/September!

This is my new favorite toy - the Simon Hurley blending brush. I got it specifically for painting the backs of eye mesh black - it has all these microbristles that get into all the grooves fantastically. You're supposed to use it with ink for scrapbooking, but I use it with acrylic paint just fine 🤣
Drowning in AC prep 🤪 the two commissions that got finished and shipped last week will have to wait to have their portfolio photos/online reveal, I got more important things to do!
