Hey guys, so it’s no secret that I’ve been disappearing for the past few months. I didn’t expect the school semester to be as busy as it was (two research papers?????? UGH) and I tried to squeeze in as much writing as possible.

I still have one more exam left (on 18th December), and I will be flying off for a family vacation from 22nd to 26th December. Meanwhile, I’m gonna be finishing up all the asks lying in my askbox and drafts. Just wanna thank you all for sending them in!! Even though I haven’t been getting around to them, thank you so much for your patience!

Since I still have one more exam to study for, I won’t be completely back, but screw exams, I’ve got a scenario blog to run. Hopefully the next semester isn’t gonna be as hectic as this one! 

Drabbles are supposed to be shorter, right? Oops.

Your handsome boyfriend Kise finally had a day off between his modelling life and basketball. Taking the chance, he invited you out after school to have a date with you. Unfortunately, one thing that he miscalculated in his date plan was how unexpectedly crowded it was. In the train, you were all squeezed up against other people. You continued your conversation with Kise, who was now talking about what happened at basketball practice the day before, but you could barely hear him.

“WHAT?” You yelled. Unfortunately for you, the whole train decided to choose that moment to remain silent, so all the passengers heard your shriek. Your face turned red immediately.

“Stop laughing, Ryouta, it’s not funny!” you scowled, lightly slapping your boyfriend’s arm, who giggled at your expense.

“I’m sorry! It’s just,” he tried talking in between breaths. “It’s just that your face looked really funny, and that uncle behind you was so startled. Sorry!” He held his stomach tightly, trying to breathe in between his laughs.

“Ugh, it was just really loud earlier so I couldn’t hear what you said,” you pouted at Kise.

Rubbing the tears out of his eyes, he calmed down. “Okay, okay. Sorry about that, _____-cchi. Maybe if I leaned in, you’ll hear me better?”

You widen your eyes. “Wait, what? No, don’t-”

“Can you hear me now, ______-cchi?” His warm breath ghosted over your ear, sending shivers down your spine. The tips of ears started turning red. Involuntarily, you let out a small whimper.

Kise couldn’t believe what was happening. At first, he wondered what would cause you to make that sound, but when he leaned back to study your face, he understood why. He cupped your chin with his hand and forced you to look him the eyes. He smirked at the sight of your glossed eyes. 

“_____-cchi, could it be... Your ears are a little sensitive?” he teased. His words sounded playful, but the tone of his voice suggested much more.

You desperately tried to hide your blush. “I-No! No. I don’t know what you’re talking about. And don’t come so close to people like that! It’s really creepy.” you scolded him, silently praying he wouldn’t do it again. But honestly, you knew deep down that there was no way you could stop him.

Kise leaned in again and whispered ever so softly. “But _____-cchi, you were making that really cute face. I can’t help myself.” He let out a small chuckle. His ministrations were barely there, but it was enough to turn you into a blushing mess. “S-stop it, Ryouta...” you whispered.

He placed his hands on your shoulders, steadying himself, but also giving him full access to tease you. You were putty in his hands. “You know, _____-cchi, when you act so cute like that, I really can’t help myself.” His voice was low and mischievous. “I-”

“We have arrived at Yokohama Station.” Fortunately for you, the announcement went of, and you two have reached your stop. You let out a sigh of relief. Finally.

“Aww man.” Kise took his hands of your shoulders, and took your hand in his. With you tailing behind him, he lead the both of you out of the station. You looked up at him. Just as you were about to ask him where he was taking you, he let out a groan.

“You know, _____-cchi,” he grumbled. “I had planned this date from a long time ago, but after what happened on the train, I kinda want to continue that and forget about the date altogether.” He looked down at you and gave you his signature cheeky smile. “What do you say, hmm?”

“Don’t joke with me!” You punched his shoulder, causing him to wince in pain.

Hope you don’t mind, but I used headcanons instead!

It mostly depends on the timeline. If it happened before his, um, change, then he’d be surprised, especially if they did it from behind. He’d turn over and see them smiling up at him with the brightest, biggest smile he’s ever seen. Internally, he’d praise the god above for creating such a perfect creature. He’ll hug them right back, squeezing them in his arms, but not too tightly.

“Thank you for coming to watch the match, _____-san. Thank you for cheering me on.” He smiled at them warmly.

If it happened after his change, he’d be more stiff. He’d look over and see them with that same sweet smile described earlier. It’s not that he’s heartless, but let’s just say he wouldn’t be as warm and welcoming. He might hug them back stiffly or just pat them on the head. Worse comes to worst, he’d probably just give them a small smile.

Trafalgar Law relationship headcanons

I see Law as someone who probably has a hard time really opening up to people, so his partner must be somebody he trusts completely (though it’ll still take some time for him to tell them about his past)

He feels comfortable and at peace whenever he’s with them, so whenever there are times when he feels like he needs a break from anything medical, he’d look for them and talk with them about anything

But he’s not all mushy around his partner, no. He’d still want to act all mysterious and suave around them, so expect the unexpected if you can

Around his crazy crew (especially around Shachi and Penguin, the dorks) he’d watch over them, but he’s not gonna be controlling. He knows his crew has no ill-intent, and anyway they’d be insane to try anything on their captain’s partner

At night, when Law’s partner is asleep, he’d run his hand through their hair. Slowly, gently, feeling their hair run along his fingers. He’d also look at them lovingly as he did this.

If they couldn’t sleep at night, he’d stay up with them, sharing stories (if he was feeling really intimate), or, yknow, do the wink wonk.

I just realized you said reactions... I wrote a freaking story.

The Minotaur was closing in on you. Even though the monster was out of breath, you felt like your lungs were on fire and your legs could break any moment. You tripped over a stone, falling face flat. The Minotaur stopped at a distance, panting and catching its breath. “You owe me for those four bowls of ramen!” the creature waved its broom in the air. The monster was actually the owner of the restaurant you just dined at, but because you were broke, you decided to make a run for it. You slowly got on your feet, brushing dirt off yourself. “Heh, I told you I was broke. Looks like there’s only one way to settle this.” You cracked your knuckles.

Generation of Miracles

Kuroko

It was the third time the poor boy felt your punch strike his ribs. What on earth are you dreaming about? he wondered. And why do you keep whispering, “Die, Minotaur” every 10 seconds?

Suddenly you sat upright, startling Kuroko. “Uh, _____-san?” He sat upright too, trying to get a look of your face. “It’s okay, you were just having a drea-”

Smack! Once again, your hand hit him hard, and this time you slapped him in the face. The force behind your “attack” proved too much for Kuroko to handle, because he suddenly found himself on the floor with a sore bum. All you did was laugh triumphantly and fall back down to bed, snoring peacefully.

Sighing, he took his pillow. “I guess I’ll have to take the couch tonight.”

Kise

Kise thrashed wildly in his sleep, but his partner’s excessive movement woke him up. “Mm? _____-cchi, what’s wrong?” He lifted his head up, rubbing his eyes.

“I told you... I’m broke,” you said in irritated tone.

“Huh!?” Kise jumped to his feet, feeling wide awake. “Hey, _____-cchi, if this is about me forcing you to pay for dinner earlier today, I’m sorry! I apologized so many times already, but if I have to get on my knees, I gladly will!” He got ready to kneel on the bed, when suddenly...

Crack, crack. “Looks like there’s only one way to settle this,” you said menacingly. 

Kise’s eyebrows shot up as he wailed, “_____-cchi, nooooooooooo!!”

Midorima

The horoscope geek was at his wits’ end. He was already kicked out of bed twice, and if you attacked him one more time, he was ready to throw a pillow at your face. He stood over you in the dark with a pillow in his hand; watching you, waiting for the right moment to strike.

Suddenly, you opened your eyes. You could make an outline of a person standing next to you, and right as the lightning flashed outside the window, you could make out the face of a scary person ready to kill you in cold blood.

You let a loud scream, causing Midorima to jump and scream back at you, frightened. Then there was silence for a few seconds as you two gathered the situation in your minds. You swore you could see the boy’s blush in the dark.

“Y-you move to much in bed! You need to c-control yourself nanodayo!”

Aomine

It seemed impossible to wake up this lazy bastard while he was in deep slumber, but bless you, you managed to do it. And without much effort too. Your reward? A very annoyed Aomine.

He sat cross-legged on the bed, arms folded. He kicked you softly with his foot. “Oi.” he said. No answer. He got on his knees and crawled over to you to look at your sleeping face. He caught your lips moving, so he leaned in to catch what you were saying.

But your words were too soft for him to hear, so he leaned in so close that your noses were already touching. But it was a big mistake, because you suddenly let out a loud, disgusting burp that took Aomine by surprise, causing him to fall off the bed.

You let out a loud laugh. “Thanks for the ramen, Minotaur.” Aomine just scowled at you. “The fuck?”

Murasakibara

“Oi, _____-chin, if you keep on talking about ramen like that, I’m gonna make you cook some for me right now!” The purple giant was annoyed as he sat upright and looked over at you. 

“I came here to eat ramen, I don’t really care what happens to you,” you mumbled softly in your sleep.

“Hah? That’s so selfish of you to say.” He began poking you in the ribs. “_____-chin, make me some ramen right now!”

You suddenly sat upright and faced Murasakibara, startled by your sudden movement. “Don’t make me fight you, Minotaur.” You let out a loud snore and fell back to bed.

“Wha...?” The purple giant was confused. “I’m not a Minotaur, _____-chin!”

Akashi

He was already exhausted from finishing up his work before joining you in bed, and having to deal with your violent sleeping patterns when he couldn’t anymore was something he just wasn’t going to have. His left cheek was already red from all that slapping, and he almost fell out of bed thrice. He needed to do something about this.

The perfect chance came up! Just as your hand was about to smack his face again, he quickly grabbed it, holding it tightly with his. He didn’t forget your kicks, though. Before you could fully stretch out your leg, he swiftly sat up, and, while still holding onto your hand, managed to positioned himself between your legs. He leaned over you, grabbing your free hand with his.

“_____,” he whispered in your ear. Immediately, your eyes fluttered open. “Mm? Sei? What is it?” You yawned.

“Since you’re still feeling quite frisky, why don’t we do something else?” Akashi smiled.

Others

Himuro

What time was it already? It felt like he went to bed 7 hours ago and had been dealing with your violent sleeping patterns since then. He reached over the bedside table, unlocking his phone screen. It was 12:01AM.

He sighed. How on earth am I supposed to survive another 6 hours?

1:47AM. You switched over from kicking and punching to elbow jabs, and you were even calling out your attack moves in your sleep. “Super Sharp Elbow Shot!” You hit Himuro again, but he had gone numb from the pain. This time, however, he let out a chuckle.

Super Sharp Elbow Shot? He sighed. Even while you’re asleep, you’re still so cute to me. He leaned over and kissed your forehead, and you let out a giggle. “That tickles!” you exclaimed.

He smiled, closing in to kiss you again when you suddenly kneed him in his crotch, hard.

Ah. You changed your fighting stance again. Himuro sank back into the bed and began praying for his safety.

Hanamiya

“Tch. Minotaur this, Minotaur that,” Hanamiya muttered under his breath as he stood up from the spot he fell after you kicked him off the bed. “Do you want to see an actual monster?”

Suddenly, he grinned widely. Good job, Makoto, you did it again. He walked towards his desk drawer and took out some rope and a big pair of scissors. If it’s a monster you want, _____-chan, it’s a monster you’ll get...

You woke a few hours later, the night still young. Your nose was itchy, so you tried to scratch it, but you felt something holding back your arm. You looked up and could barely make out the shape of your wrist being held back by some rope that was tied to the headboard of the bed. To your surprise, your other wrist and your legs were also tied to the bed frame. “Wha-”

“You’re finally awake, I see.” You turned your head to the direction of the voice. Hanamiya stood by the door, arms crossed with his signature cocky grin. “I can’t let you have all the fun, now, can’t I?”

You growled at him in annoyance. “Makotooooo!!”

Kagami

“Mmmm...” Kagami tossed and turn, trying to get comfortable in bed.

“Oh! Mmmm... yummy.” The red-head tried to cover his ears with his pillow, but the noises you made were too loud.

“Hey, Minotaur! Another bowl of ramen, please!” Kagami shot up and looked at you with wide eyes. Isn’t that your fourth bowl!?

He knew you were dreaming, yes, but your fictional appetite spiked his interest. Maybe she’s just hungry... Oh, I know! He pulled the blanket over you and made his way to the kitchen.

An hour later, he returned into the room, tray in hand. “Oi, _____, wake up! I made ramen!” He made the mistake of standing over you, because before he knew it, you suddenly kicked your leg in the air, causing Kagami to let go of the tray, and the bowl of hot ramen to drop on him. The red-head yelled in pain, and rushed to the bathroom to take care of his burns and clean up the mess on him.

After that, he returned to the bedroom, only to find you awake and sitting cross-legged, salvaging whatever you could from the bowl of ramen. “Oi, Taiga,” you said in between bites. “Why are you playing with food at night?”

Hanamiya Makoto scenario

Pop! “Oi, Hanamiya, there she is.”

The basketball captain from Kirisaki Daichi turned his head to spot you along the school corridor, laughing happily with your friends. His team mates could tell that the sly smirk on their captain’s face only meant trouble. They bid him goodbye as Hanamiya sauntered his way over to you.

The basketball captain’s sadistic nature was no secret to the entire school. In fact, if he weren’t a complete genius nor the captain for the sports team, he’d just be known as an evil jerk. The moment your friends felt his presence drawing closer, they felt their blood drain from their face. They knew exactly why he was coming towards them. Before they scurried off, your friends nodded at you. Good luck! And be safe.

You frowned, not noticing Hanamiya’s presence until he cleared his throat. “Oh? If it isn’t _____.” He bent down and peered closely to your face. “What brings you along here at the spider’s web?” 

You could practically feel the venom in his words, but damn it, it made you feel funny inside - in a good way. You ducked and continued walking along, pretending to be uninterested. “Spider’s web? What the hell are you saying.”

“You know, a spider’s web is really good for trapping people.” All of a sudden, you felt your arm being pulled backwards, and your back hit the window pane by the side of the corridor. He placed his hands on either side of your arms. You widen your eyes, and gave the captain a dirty look. “What’s your deal?” you raised your voice.

“Hush now, pretty.” Hanamiya brought a finger up to your lips. You could smell the chocolate he had earlier on it. “Do you know what else a spider’s web is good for, _____?” He leaned in and whispered in your ear, making your hair stand. 

“You get to hear all the secrets, and nothing escapes your grasp.” He let out a breathy chuckle.

You could only guess how red your face was at the moment, but you didn’t want to let him know what you were thinking. When Hanamiya pulled back, you scowled at his face. “There you go again, I have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about. If you’ll excuse me, I need to run after my friends.”

But the captain wouldn’t let you leave. “Now now, let’s not ruin the moment. Since you’re being so difficult, I’ll just have to be blunt then.” He tilted your chin up to face him, and you came face to face with his stupid grin. “I know -the whole school knows- you have a big crush on me.”

You slapped his hand away and hooted. “HAH! Me? Have a crush on you?” you narrowed your eyes. “Don’t make me laugh. What the fuck is so attractive about your stupid, tadpole eyebrows? And that stupid smirk of yours? Don’t even get me started on your shitty-ass personality, Hanamiya Makoto. You may be a fucking genius with your IQ or whatever, but you’re just trash to me. Also, you can’t even be bothered to wash your hands after a meal, you disgust me.” You pushed him away, spun around and sauntered off.

Just as you thought you were out of the woods, you heard him let out a sadistic laugh. “Trash, huh?” He said. He pulled you towards him again, this time you didn’t fight back. “If I’m trash, what does that make you? You, the one who is so irrevocably in love with me.” He smirked.

You tried to hide your embarrassment. “Wh-wha-” you stammered. “I-I don’t-”

“And it’s amazing how you just listed down the exact same things I heard that you found really attractive about me.” He dragged his finger over your jawline, his touch making you dizzy. “Don’t make me laugh,” he taunted.

You looked away, embarrassed and torn between your desires. You wanted to go all tsundere on his ass but at the same time, you wanted to melt under his touch. The captain probably sensed your dilemma, because suddenly he spoke up.

“Because I’m such a kind, gracious soul, I’m gonna give you the chance to watch my tadpole eyebrows and stupid smirk up close.” Your eyes shot at him, widening. He laughed loudly.

“That was quite a look, _____.” He brought his face closer to yours, and you felt the heat rise back up to your cheeks. “But just so you know,” he said in a low voice. “I don’t take well to things that don’t go my way, so you better choose your words wisely.” He softened his eyes, but they hinted his true sadistic side.

“I-idiot!” You didn’t bother hiding your blush anymore. “Was that a threat? Like hell I’m gonna give in just because I’m scared.”

You’ve lost count over the times Hanamiya had laughed at the things you said to him. “Say all you want, pretty, but even I know you can’t possibly reject such an offer.” He slid an arm over the small of your back and gave a small push, closing the space between you and him. Your noses were just an inch apart. “What say you, hmm?”

What choice do you have? Anyway, it’s not like you were gonna turn him down. You let a frustrated groan, your blush betraying your true feelings. “Fine! Whatever! I don’t really care!”

“Heh.” You felt Hanamiya’s other hand ghost over the side of your leg, just barely touching you, but it was enough to send you into a frenzy. Suddenly, he let go of you and began to walk away. “You chose your words well, though I would’ve said something more pleasing to the ear.” He called out behind him. Before he turned around the corner, he took a step back and gave you a piercing gaze.

“Meet me at the boys’ locker room once school ends. Come alone. Also, don’t wear your school blazer.”

GOMreaction’s to their S/O’s handsome best friend

Kuroko

My son Kuroko is quite a reasonable fellow, soif anyone is gonna understand the situation immediately, it’ll be him

Of course at first, he’ll be weary of the bestfriend, seeing how attractive he is and how much of a presence he puts on

But Kuroko just needs to watch and see how thebest friend behaves around his s/o, and he’ll immediately get that there isdefinitely nothing going on between them

This is gonna surprise the best friend, ofcourse, because when he went to tell Kuroko, the little man was all like, “Ohyeah I know.”

Kise

Kise is gonna be the first to notice the bestfriend, and of course, he’s going to act cautiously whenever he’s around

Let’s put it this way: if the three of themwere going to watch a movie together, Kise is going to try his best to put hiss/o in aisle seat, take the seat next to them, and have the best friend takethe one furthest away from the s/o

Of course that plan is gonna fail, because hiss/o will somehow end up in between them, much to his chagrin

He’d personally call out his s/o’s best friend,just to tell him to back the fuck off

But once he learns that they’re just reallyclose and he assures Kise that he isn’t in love with them, he’s gonna feelpretty stupid

After which, dates with Kise are gonna becomequite annoying, because he’s suddenly super close with his s/o’s best friend,and the s/o is gonna become the third wheel to these ‘dates’

Midorima

Mr Oha Asa over here is gonna work his magic,alright

He’ll keep track of the best friend’shoroscope, making sure that they’ll always fall below his everyday

And when it doesn’t, Midorima is gonna getpretty mad, especially if the best friend happens to be around him and his s/othat day

Even if the best friend (and also his s/o)assure him that there is nothing going on, he’ll still keep his suspicions

But after a while, he’ll notice that his s/otreats him differently than how they treat their best friend, so he’ll start toaccept the truth (but that doesn’t mean he’ll warm up to best friend)

He still wouldn’t like the best friend joiningthem for anything though, because he strictly wants his date time to be justhim and the one he loves

Aomine

He’s quite dense when it comes to attractivemen, let’s be honest. So he wouldn’teven give them much of a second glance.

However, he’ll get quite ticked off when hiss/o goes on about how handsome this person is, and he’ll feel a bit inadequateand might possibly go off to find the best friend

And, especially since those two are close,Aomine is going to feel a bit threatened.

He’s gonna need quite a lot of reassuring fromhis s/o (because he doesn’t want to see the best friend’s face) that they loveAomine, and Aomine only

It’ll take him quite a while to open up andaccept the best friend, but after a while he will

And when he does, they become the ultimate brosand Aomine would go to him for advice when he doesn’t know what to do with hiss/o

Murasakibara

First of all, I doubt this boy will even noticehow attractive his “rival” is

The only time he feels threatened about hisposition is if he sees them being suuuper close to his s/o, then he’ll startbeing protective and would nonchalantly tell him to back off

When the best friend explains to him thesituation, he’ll go silent for a bit, and then say “Okay.”

That doesn’t mean he threw away all hissuspicions though, but he will feel more comfortable knowing that there is anactual possibility that there is nothing going on between them

He’ll be even more assured when his s/o tellshim the same thing, so at the end of the day, this boy will feel like he hasabsolutely nothing to worry about

Akashi

Mr Emperor over here is gonna be confident thatno matter how attractive his s/o’s best friend is, they will be second to nonewhen it comes to anything that Akashi Seijuro is good at (which is everythinglol)

But still, the proximity of their relationshipis gonna bother lots, and he might put people to watch this best friend of hiss/o’s, just to see how he’s like

When it comes to the best friend and his s/ospending time together, he’ll want to personally be there to watch out for himand to also protect his partner

From now on, it all depends on the best friend:if he’s not intimidated, then he’ll tell Akashi that there’s nothing going on,and he’ll say this rather confidently, which Akashi will take some time tobelieve in

If the best friend is too intimidated, he mightjust not even bother explaining and will shorten his time spent together withAkashi’s s/o

But the real hero of the day is the s/o themselves,because they would want the two people they care about most to get along

The two men will agree accordingly, but they’llstill be having that tension between them

Shachi, Penguin relationship headcanons

Shachi

He’s the type of person who’d researchon how to do things to swoon his lovely s/o, all because he just wants to seehim smile (and knowing that he was the one who made them smile would definitelymake him happy)

Knowing him, they’re gonna range from abouquet of roses at the start of every single date, to the worst pickup linesof the century

He’d also love to show you off to hisfriends (to which of course they’ll reply with “How did a guy like him evenscore??”). And while that’s happening, he’ll always have an arm around yourshoulders or waist, or may even hold your hand. Y’know, so he can tell theother men to back off, because you’re his.

Dates with Shachi are filled with lotsof laughter, this is something he’ll make sure of, so be prepared for a crazytime (and by crazy, planned dates where he’ll try to execute  all these different things to prove hisstrength to you, but you’ll be busy watching this lovable dork showing off toyou)

But at the end of the day, this manknows how to take care of you

If you’re sick, he’ll remember all thelittle things that Dr Law has told him and he’ll apply those things to you

Did I mention that Shachi would be up tomassage you???? Just ask for it and he’ll be waiting for your hand and foot,literally

But don’t forget to hug him, kiss himand thank him for everything (even if he hasn’t done anything). He would need abit of reassuring and reminding that you do indeed love him

Penguin

Now, Penguin is just as crazy as hisgood friend Shachi, but he’s a little gentler

He’d show you off too, but you’ll catchhim sneaking glances at you with a blush on his face (because!!! You!!! Make!!!Him!!! So!!! Happy!!!!)

He wouldn’t mind planning dates, but he’llalways ask you if there was something you wanted to eat or do

If he had a favorite activity to do withyou, it would be to go dancing! (because this man secretly loves to dance, let’sjust share the truth with everyone right now)

He’d also wanna try cooking for you, butyou’ll probably end up cooking for the two of you instead

Oh yeah, and when he takes you out ondates, or if you’re just doing nothing in particular, he’d love to grab yourhands and sway them together with his.

Like his good friend, he’ll also knowhow to take care of you (it’s pretty handy to have a doctor for a captain,after all)

OH MY GOD I WILL DEFINITELY GIVE YOU THAT HAPPY ENDING, I SWEAR BY IT. ENJOY!! (In the end I broke it up to 4 parts because they each got too long!!!)

PART ONE: Ace (warning: lots of abuse/violence/cursing)

“Ace, I’m telling you this so that you don’t do anything stupid-yoi,” the baby den-den mushi in Ace’s hands sighed. “Though I’m pretty sure you’re not gonna listen.”

“Damn straight,” the black-haired man shifted his feet. “I already have intel on where that bastard is currently. So if you see Pops, tell him to prepare a funeral for that goddamned Teach. I’ll talk to you later.” Gacha.

Placing the baby den-den mushi carefully into his pocket, he got into the Striker and sailed off in the southwest direction. The smell of the sea tickled his nose a bit, and he gave a loud sneeze. After wiping the snot off his pants, he tipped his hat and looked into the distance. Not long after, his destination was right in front of his eyes.

Banaro Island, the man thought to himself. _____, I’m coming!

Suddenly, his den-den mushi rang. He took it out and answered it. “Hello?”

“Zehahahaha! Now, _____, how long do you think it’ll take for lover boy to get here?” Blackbeard said to Ace’s girlfriend as he removed the gag in her mouth.

“Probably less than half an hour,” Augur replied. He stood beside his captain. “I heard he was nearby in the seas looking for us. If I’m right, he should be coming along-“

“Shut up, I wasn’t asking you!” Blackbeard held up a hand to silence his underling. Bringing up his other hand, he tickled the lady’s chin. “So? What do you think?”

More tears sprung out of her eyes. The lady was afraid of course, but she had full faith in Ace that he would definitely come and rescue her. But she wasn’t going to reply to the dirty bastard who kidnapped her. In defiance, she spat right smack in Blackbeard’s eye, causing him to fall back and cry out in pain. Her little act caused her to get slapped by Burgess. “You bitch!” he cursed at her.

How did the unlucky lady get involved in this mess, anyway? She was sent by Izo to get some supplies at an island a bit further down from Banaro, nearer towards Sabaody, where her commander and a few others were waiting for her. She managed to purchase what she needed, but was ambushed by the traitor, Teach. Guessing what he was after, she decided to give herself up in order to save Izo and the rest. Not that she lacked faith in their abilities, of course, but she knew that Ace was already after the bastard, and that hunk alone was enough to bring down Blackbeard and his crew of misfits.

They tied up her wrists and ankles, and ended up gagging her when she got too noisy. She took a few hits to the face on their way to Banaro Island. When they arrived, they destroyed the peaceful town that resided on the near the coast and threw _____’s body in middle of the town plaza. And now, in the present, the traitor removed the mouth gag to taunt the poor lady. The rest of the crew had her surrounded as they watched her, laughing.

“I’ll tell you why I killed your good friend Thatch,” Blackbeard said after he composed himself. “He took the one thing that stood in my way of becoming the pirate king, the yami yami no mi!” At this, ______’s head snapped up. “You’re not going to become the pirate k-king, Teach. You know damn well that P-Pops is gonna be the-“

Smack! She took another hit on the face, this time the captain was the one dealing the pain. “Shut the fuck up,” his voice dripping with venom. He pulled at the collar of her shirt to bring her face closer to his. “You don’t get to decide what fate has in store for me. I have my own dreams, and you don’t get to tell me how to live it! I’m going to become the pirate king and take over the world! Zehahaha!”

“Captain, I can see Ace on that sail boat of his, they’re closing in on the island,” Augur announced, causing Blackbeard to laugh even harder.

“Funny,” he said after he calmed himself, “None of this would have to happen to you if only you have chosen me over that idiot kid. You would be standing beside me and I could promise you the world.” He dragged a dirty finger across _____’s jawline, making her shudder. “But you still don’t feel the same way, I can see.” Blackbeard took a step back and gave her a dirty look. “Once I’m done with Ace, you can come into my arms and cry. And then Pops will come and I’ll have his head. It’s a triple win for me!” He raised his hands in the air and laughed. The rest of his crew either smirked or laughed along.

Suddenly, Blackbeard stopped laughing. His expression turned into a serious one and he opened his mouth to speak. “Oi, _____. Say something. Praise me for my greatness! Just give up and acknowledge me!”

“N-no, I w-won’t,” the lady was struggling to speak, since her jaw was nearly destroyed by the bastards standing around her. “A-A-Ace. He will come. And fucking d-destroy you and send y-you all to your deaths.”

“The poor baby is trying to speak, let’s listen again,” Laffitte walked towards her and held her fragile jaw with his right hand. “What was that you said?”

“I think you heard her loud and clear,” a voice from above them said. The Blackbeard pirates looked at each other, and then at Augur, who stared back at them with wide eyes. Shit, I took my eyes off the man for a while and didn’t notice his presence! But when they all looked up, there was no one there.

“Also, I’d appreciate it if you laid your hands off my girl.” The voice was now coming from beside Laffitte, who looked with wide eyes at the flaming hand that held his wrist. But it was too late for him to draw back his hand from _____, and he screamed as he felt the burn on his wrist. He fell to ground and blew on his injury. “You!”

Blackbeard tried to remain unsurprised by the arrival of Ace. Putting on a cheerful face, he walked towards him. “Oh, it’s you, Commander! We were just talking about you. What’s good?”

“What’s good?” Ace laughed. “I’ll tell you what’s good.” He pointed a finger at _____. “What’s good is whatever part of her body you have not yet destroyed. What’s good is how Marco informed me of her kidnapping.” He took a step closer towards Blackbeard, who took a step back, his smile faltering.

“You wanna know what’s good, Teach?” Ace’s hands were balled in fists now as he lit them up with his powers. “What’s good is how I’m gonna kick your sorry ass and send you and your sorry group of friends straight to hell for using her to hurt me and Pops!” Closing the distance between him and Blackbeard, Ace jumped in the air and drew back one of his fists. “Hiken!”

The plaza was engulfed in red hot flames, and the only area that was safe was the little sphere that surrounded _____ where she laid on the ground, still bounded in rope. Ace ran towards her immediately amidst the chaos. Using his abilities, he burned off the rope. “This should buy us some time for a while,” he said. The lady only looked at Ace as tears started rolling down her cheeks. He’s here, he’s finally here.

Meanwhile, the Blackbeard pirates were too busy dealing with the fire to notice other people arriving to the scene. Ace sensed their presence and immediately opened up a pathway for them to get to the couple. “Izo!” he yelled. “Over here!”

The commander of the 16th division and some other Whitebeard pirates made their way towards them. “_____! Ace!” he called out. As the reinforcements approached the couple, _____ used her remaining strength to raise her head to see who was coming. Commander Izo? What’s he doing here?

“Thanks for coming on such short notice,” said Ace. “Can you get her out of here? Be careful though, she’s suffered quite a lot of injuries. Also watch out for her jaw, that one’s in pretty bad shape.”

“Of course I will,” Izo replied.  “I’m in charge of her, after all.” He then ordered the pirates who came with him to carry her safely back to their ship. Fully realizing the situation, Izo grabbed Ace’s arm. “Wait, you’re not gonna fight them on your own, are you?”

“Izo, I was already after Teach before this happened. He’s always been my responsibility.” Ace walked towards _____ who was surrounded by the Whitebeard pirates who were trying to load her unto a stretcher they brought along. “Wait for me, okay?” He bent down and gently cradled her face in his hands. “I’ll make them pay.”

The girl tried to speak, but no sound came out. Be careful, Ace.

Izo sighed. “I would tell you to call for help if you need it, but you’re never gonna do that.” He placed a hand on Ace’s shoulder. “We’ll get her back straight away. Go and give them hell.” Ace placed his hand on top Izo’s and smiled. “Thanks.” Ace walked off, his body turning to flames.

After she was placed onto the stretcher, they quickly left the scene in order to avoid being caught by Blackbeard and his crew. The last thing _____ saw before she lost consciousness was Teach using his powers to absorb Ace’s flames, and the Blackbeard pirates standing by the sidelines, ready to attack. She willed herself to raise her hand to reach out to Ace, but she was too numb from the pain to know whether she succeeded in doing so.

“Shh! Let her rest in peace, all of you.”

“But she’s been like that for five days, doc. When will she wake up?”

“Oi, Haruta, that’s rich coming from you. Remember last time? You were out for almost two weeks-yoi.”

_____ recognized the voices around her as she started to wake. Her eyes fluttered opened to reveal the resident doctor and nurses on the Moby Dick, and several of the Whitebeard pirates watching her closely. Seeing their concerned faces made her smile, but when she tried to open her mouth to speak, she found herself to be in pain.

“Ah, don’t try to talk!” The doctor rushed towards her side. “You were in pretty bad shape when they brought you here. If you got in any later, I would’ve been unable to save you!”

“Say something more encouraging, will you,” Marco muttered.

_____ couldn’t handle it any longer. She parted her lips and tried to speak. “A-A-Ace,” her voiced croak.

One of the nurses rushed forward to calm down the patient. The doctor and the pirates shuffled their feet and looked sideways. Something’s wrong, _____ thought to herself.

“Well,” the doctor started. “He only returned yesterday in the morning. We had to operate on him immediately.” Ace’s girlfriend felt her stomach drop as she stared at the doctor with wide eyes. No…

The doctor noticed her expression and became flustered. “Oh, don’t worry! He’s alright now. He’s right here actually.” The doctor pointed at the bed to _____’s right.

With the assistance of a nurse, she turned her head to look at her beloved. He was covered in bandages and several bruises. Ace lay under the blanket, asleep. Immediately, _____ felt a rush of relief. Thank God, he’s fine. She sighed out loud.

After the doctor told her about what medications she would be taking from then on, everyone left the room, leaving _____ and Ace to rest in peace in the unlit infirmary. She had asked to let her head stay facing Ace, even if it meant she would suffer cramps. She watched him lie peacefully. Even though there was a distance between them, she could count the number of freckles on his cheeks. She laughed softly.

Completely disobeying the doctor’s orders to rest, she used all her strength to push herself to get up. It took her a while, but she succeeded. Walking over to Ace, she used her IV drip to help her to walk. Carefully, in order to not strain her body too much, she leaned over and softly kissed his lips. She pulled back and smiled.

My fall semester in university starts on Monday, 31st August (which is in less than 24 hours for me currently, boohoo), so posts are gonna come much slower from now on.  My school is quite demanding (having trimesters is no joke, guys) and I’m really sorry!! Especially since I just only opened up this blog recently :(

I will try my very hardest to upload at least one or two scenarios/headcanons daily!!
