growing up as an only child, raised by her very demanding single mom, she was thrust into the spotlight very early on. she was put through many pageants until her mom took the initiative to take her onto auditions for commercials. zoe grew to love the attention and the pride that came with every job that she booked. although she didnโt necessarily realize it at the time that she was doing this to get the love and acceptance she thought she needed.
zoe finally got her first big role as gatsby garcia on west drive around 10 years old, being surrounded by very important people in the industry. she felt the pressure even more now to the point where she was being overworked. none of it mattered as her mom just kept pushing her to the point where zoe took pills as she finally got into her teenage years. once the producers found out about her little problem, she was written off the show.ย
her world came crashing down as the fame seemed to fade away as rumors began about why she really got fired. she was then forced to go back to public school which just feels like a punishment to her. her relationship with her mother has only worsened around this time. itโs when she really notices how controlling and toxic she is.
towards her senior year is when zoe is also finally coming to terms with her sexuality, realizing her feelings attraction to girls was always there. she has only pushed it away because she thought she needed to be seen a certain way.ย
zoe has publicly come out just a few months ago, around the time she officially cut her mother out of her life. she received great response from her old fans that watched her grow up, but she stills feel this loneliness with unaccepting her mother was.
