Hi everybody. Considering everyone's been making lore explanations lately I figured I wanted to make one for my, overcomplicated multiverse system.
I think the best way to explain this is in sections soo here we go!!!
______________________________________________________________
Section 1. Multiverse Travel.
While there might be multiple ways to travel universes with magic. GEC (Geouniveral Extraction Corp.) has found an easily recreatable method. The exact details to this dont matter much (I have NOT fucking developed it). This method is pretty nice except for one big flaw. See every time someone travels with this method they leave behind a massive very noticeable portal. This has ended up in these universe noticing and eventually being destroyed. The GEC doesn't want this so they try and prevent it. (see ------)
There is also the Geouniversal Locator*. This mysterious device contains information about separate universes so that travelers can understand what you're getting into when they travel universes. Think digital encyclopedia. If you want to know more look at zooming's role-play with ETB2
*Do you want to know more about this device? Than check out @the-device-thingy

Section 2. The GEC
The GEC's main goal is simple. They want to extract precious resources from other universes so they dont have to destroy their own. This includes but is not limited too Fossil fuels, Crops, and rare minerals. They also have "scientists" who want to learn about these other universes. I'll explain more about them later
This combined with the tendency to leave giant portals everywhere they go leads us to the unique combination of workers you'll see at GEC.
Worker Type #1 : The Gatherers
The gatherers exist to do the actual resource collecting. Their main goal is not to be seen and severe punishments come if they are. You won't see much of them
Worker Type #2 : The Wanderers
The wanderers are people that traveled from another universe to the main GEC location. They are given essentially free will to travel universe whenever they want. However they are assigned a narrator to monitor them as they do this.
This ranks exists purely to please the scientists who want to understand other universes. If not for them these wanderers would be killed by GEC.
This is one of two roles that people from other universes can obtain.
This is also both Priscilla's and Zoomin's Current rank.
Worker Type #3 The Secretaries
The secretaries exist to welcome otherworldly travelers into the GEC. They do this by directing them to the introduction room.
This is the first of the worker types that the GEC won't kill if they mess up. If a secretaries makes a mistake they will simply be demoted or fired
Worker Type #4 The Narrators
The Narrator exists to monitor the wanderer. This position is usually picked for people who already have a good track record within the company. As such your survival chances from being fired from this role are high. Not because of the role itself but your previous examples of being a good employee
Worker Type #6 The Moderators
The moderators exist to monitor universes where resource extraction is taking place. They watch the local residents of said universe to make sure they don't find out more than they need to know.
This is the second role a person from a different universe can acquire.
It is possible to switch between moderator and wanderer even after you initial assignment. However most Moderators dont want to be a wanderer and most wanderers dont want to be moderator.
Worker #7 The Scientists :
The Scientists are a small group of talented individuals handpicked from this universes government to gain information about separate universes. GEC would prefer not too have them but it is an unfortunate must.
Worker #8 The Bosses :
The absolute highest class available in this company. the bosses exclusively come from the bloodlines of former bosses. This empire has existed so long that tracing the exact origins of any particular one would be nearly impossible.
As of now there are 4 but only one is really relevant. This one is focused on the employees themselves. Name hasn't been revealed but the text is blue
As of now thats it for what you need to know about the multiverse. This will be edited to include other things that get brought up later on. It doesn't include magic based systems for multiverse travel because I haven't made those.
If you have any questions let me know and ill be more than happy to explain them!
