          she outright squeaks at the compliment,            unable to contain her joy as she stomps            both feet in an impatient yet endearing            manner. “sugar! cute! miaou, miao-o-u!”            even when she’s lifted in the air, sugar            feels no malicious intent from this being.            sure, they were no zacharie, but what            did it matter? she was being pampered!            toes wiggle at her mirror with effort. her           hands raise towards the sky, and sugar            motions to be raised higher. “up, upper!”

                giggle matching the child's, she swings her up higher into the air.                 blank eyes seem to shine with happiness, and she twirls around                 on her heel with the other in her grasp before lowering her back to                 the floor.

           ”ducky? you know ducky too?”            without warning, the small child clambers towards            the oscillating voice with childish wonder. “du-uh-            uh-cky! ducky!” sugar mimics, nimbly darting from            one mound of ashes to the next. her giggles are             more light than her alternate’s, and clearly shows            her lack of fear with a cartwheel out into the open.

                sugar is well aware of other iterations of her, other files,                 so she's not at all shocked when the spitting image of                 her tumbles into view. tapping a long nail against her                 black-painted lips, she scampers over to the child and                 picks her up, holding her high in the air.
