Here's To The Zeroes

“Which I am not. Most of the time, anyway.” He paused. “Well, it’s open for debate I guess.”

“You’re a loveable kind of fool. Which is better than the latter.”

“I don’t know....Maybe I’m wrong.” She extends her hand. “I’m sorry, Sally. I didn’t mean to be mean....”

“I suppose I can accept that. After all, what’s a king without his best friend?”

“Simple. A fool.”

“Yeah, but I get the feeling that you don’t trust me sometimes, so.....I honestly thought you weren’t gonna do it.”

“What should I rely on then?”

“How about my years of friendship? And the fact that I don’t stutter around you anymore.”

Zero kneels to the ground, slight worry on her face. “I didn’t think you were actually going to fall.”

Jack watched the other girl fall before speaking up. “I don’t think you understand the concept of the trust fall.”

Zero extends her hand. “I don’t think you should rely on a trust fall to see if I’m a loyal friend.”

“Can someone point me to the nearest hotel?”

She points to her left. “That way.....And then a right. I think.”

"Too much?" 

"Maybe a little. A smidge."

"The cobra is just waiting for the right moment to strike! Did you tell Jack about this??"

"Yeah. Yeah. Of course. How about fist bump, explode, then high five and meet it down at the bottom for another."

"........Sure."

"It’s okay. We can make up a new one or something."

"Can it be less complicated? I...I'm not the best at remembering that stuff..."
