2014﹣2015

It might be a bit early to say it’s a changing point. But this year does mean a lot to me.

First I quit my first job in my life. End it badly cause I was too naive and nice to believe a woman I thought who was smart. This job literally took all my happiness away. I was on a bus in a typical Shanghai rainy day, tears bursted out without any reason. So depressed. It scared me. At that moment, I knew I had to leave.

Sometimes it really hard to be a Chinese. ur family would always expect u having a so called “stable” job. I had to find a way out if Im gonna quit my job. Further study was the best reason ever. In the very beginning of Chinese new year of 2014, I failed for applying DPT program in U.S. A day suppose to be happy and joy, I was sitting in front of my television, without any thoughts. 

Good thing is the application to HK was not closed. So life lead me to HK.

HONGKONG, a city I never have any interest in my life before. just a big city. 

in my mind was like that. 

Funny thing is just like shanghai, I didnt want go in the first place, and I LOVE it when I left. I like HK more now. Probably I made friends. And life in HK is like adventure. I did lots first times.

I still could remember clearly, my first hike in HK. didnt bring any serious equipment, and wearing flip flops. We hit Sai Kung like that. and didnt know how to get there. We successfully managed lost in there. It was most amazing hike ever. Very first time for seeing those white beach and blue sea. 

And Today, I went to the same place without knowing it. 

I wanted to jump from that cliff really badly. but today I didnt do it. dont konw why, I was afraid. 

And big reason was so many ppl there. BORING.

A trip I was looing forward like a year since I knew I would go to hk.

Taiwan, an island with too many feelings. Since I was a kid, I knew there was a grand-uncle living there alone. Never get into marriage. died there alone.He was able coming back for visit like once or twice. I did not even exist at that time. He gave my mum a canon camera. He sent a lot pretty girls postcards. That’s all my memory about this funny little old man.

For the money’s sake, me and Roxy started this trip from Taichung. A city seems not that popular. 

First time to that land, everything is just so fresh and weirdly familiar. Exact feeling of the first time I walked into HK, jungle of concrete. Probably cause watched some TV and got the impression already. Taichung actually is not big. However the public transportation is lame. No wonder after 5pm, the scooters are impressive! Well I blame myself spending too much time in the big cities. 

And here comes my new backpack, have to show it. So love it. (Yeah, I know it’s lame)

That first day we got taiwan currency and felt like we were super rich! So I didn't even realize what happened, we walked into a steak house. And everyone there besides two of idiots with huge backpacks is enjoying the romantic atmosphere. The steak is not bad, that’s all I would say about this stupid funny lunch. First meal in Taiwan.

Next thing on the list was heading to the museum. Lucky there was Kusama Yayoi exhibition: a dream I dreamed.
