So in Game of Thrones we had to watch Robert Baratheon spend most of his time mourning the death of his betrothed, Lyanna Stark, after she had been long dead, but Baela isn't allowed to mourn for even a minute after losing Jace?
Robert barely knew Lyanna who cheated on him with Rhaegar. Jace was Baela's best friend, the little boy who held her hand, and the man who died fighting to protect her.
Baela has more right to wallow in self-pity than Robert, to have a moment to cry, but she is forced bite her tongue and keep her composure in the presence of the queen. Next she immediately has to get back to work looking for her grandfather and force conversation with her bastard uncles. Now Rhaenyra sends her to go looking for the very dragon and rider that almost killed her... and she has to go ALONE.
Robert was crowned King with no rivals, crying and binge-drinking all throughout his reign, while Baela gets no recognition, has to suck it up and fight to rebuild the dynasty. She has to carry all the pain and blame for a war she never started but willingly fought to protect her loved ones.
I need justice for my lady Baela.
