he’s basically known as being a morally grey cryptid who shows up when it benefits him or if he wants to get some entertainment. he quickly gained popularity from a video of him sticking his leg out and making endeavour trip went viral

he has his own merch store cause he was in a rough patch and needed money so he just went with it and prayed for the best. somehow got a small fanbase?? compilations of him doing various things are posted around and are quite high in views. i mean he’s DEFINITELY not complaining it brings him his money so he’ll keep it up,

but one more “menace child jumping off buildings compilation” and he’ll snap.

He verbally beat the shit out of Stain. Why? 'Why are you killing heroes with non-heroic motivations?! Do you know how fun it is to fuck with them?! You stupid asshole, I was gonna verbally abuse that fucker later, now you just ruined the fun!'

He still got that hero instinct of if someone nearby is in trouble, he'll rush over and help them. He'll also berate the shit out of the heroes and villains and the endangered person for not helping, fucking shit up, and getting in the way of a villain attack.

He met All-Might. He knows All-Might's secret. You'd think he'd tell everyone. But no, he likes to bug Toshinori in private, gives him way more material. He'll sometimes (somehow) call him every now and then to bug him.

He doesn't have a Quirk. What he does have is a keen intellect, Ochako Uraraka's status as student at UA and a fucked-up sleeping schedule. People wonder why stuff keeps disappearing at random, how there are so many glitches in the system at this time, and why was Dabi found tied up with steel cord and hanging upside down in the dining hall with a paper stapled to his face saying 'TO MY UNBELOVED BROTHER'

Izuku, through gritted teeth: no, no, it’s super strength. My quirk is being uncooperative but it’ll come, I know it.

Aizawa, making his first vodka tonic 5 minutes into class: your quirk being uncooperative means you don’t know what form it’s gonna take.

Tho seriously, this could be a really good thing if handled well. It would force Izuku to learn on-the-fly strategy over brute force that destroys your limbs, and by the time he hit brute force Quirk, he would be physically stronger, more tactically experienced, and less inclined to see brute force Quirk as the only way out of a bad situation. 

I imagine the users in his brain had a meeting, having seen his chaotic mind they decided he would absolutely kill himself within 6 minutes of receiving OFA. “Let him have your quirk first, Nana,” 4 suggests. “Its simple and safe for a quirkless boy starting out.”

Izuku proceeds to use Float to aggressively take out the Zero Pointer and they realize just who they are trying to wrangle. Izuku is gonna make this stupid quirk work for him just please let him use All Might’s power, just once please, he was promised dammit. 

But, like, I can totally see Uraraka going “ah, yes, you are floating in space with no way to turn it off, my parents dealt with this all the time for a bit I got this” and just towing Izuku around with a piece of rope like a balloon.  1A, watching balloon!Izuku thinks this is the most surreal thing that will happen to them this year. They are wrong. It’s not even villain attacks that are more surreal. It’s Izuku randomly manifesting yet another Quirk in new and unpredictable ways. The training camp hits and there’s just a sonic boom as One for All activates, and all of 1A around makes a quick retreat from Izuku screaming from pain, triumph, and the utter determination to use this shiny new Quirk to wreck total mayhem on the people who took Kacchan.

You’re absolutely right in that the normal chaos of 1-A would be ramped up to 11 if Izuku was randomly developing and switching through quirks. He gets Nana’s during the entrance exam. Three’s comes in during the battle trial. Five happens explosively at USJ. Two manifest while battling Shinsou. Six while he’s feeding Stain his own teeth. Four when All Might is bearing down on him during the Final exams. Until finally, finally, OFA comes to him defending Kouta from Muscular. The vestiages had run out of powers to feed the ravenous quirk fanboy and could no longer keep the destructive power away from him. The delighted cackling could be heard throughout the whole forest.

Each new manifestation that is clearly not All Might’s power gets a shriek from Izuku, both out of frustration and unadulterated joy at have more quirks to play with. Anytime he manifest a new quirk, his classmates are so confused. ‘Why do have so many quirks? What do you MEAN you’ve never seen it before? I’m sorry you were q u i r k l e s s a few months ago??’ Man once they even have a hint of AFO existing, 1-A is up and arms ready to defend Izuku from villain accusations. 

They learn to get used to it, strange noise happening somewhere in the dorms? Probably Midoriya developing a new quirk (after OFA Izuku’s like ‘phew that’s it’ and once again everyone is up in arms because ‘HOW DO YOU KNOW???’). It becomes common place to see him using a quirk or six at the same time even as other people not in the know are spitting out their drinks.

Aizawa? Is going to go grey from the stress of a child constantly manifesting new and dangerous Quirks with no idea how to use them.

All Might? Didn’t even know multiple Quirks in One for All were an option, and is equal parts terrified and proud. 

All for One himself? I don’t care if this is a dad for one universe or not, Izuku manifesting a new Quirk every few days is going to drag All for One’s attention over to Izuku real fast.

Gran Torino? Was suspicious of the kid’s potential All for One connections right up All Might mentions that Izuku has Float, and then Gran Torino’s just going to have moment where he realizes a little piece of Nana lived on and have an emotional breakdown. Inko? Has actually no idea what’s going on. Izuku finding his missing Quirk after years? Highly improbable, but at least vaguely possible. Izuku manifesting a half dozen random Quirks out of the blue? Hoo boy, that’s a whole different story. Inko’s going to want answers, now.

What’s amusing to me is when Float first manifests, if the vestiges decide to keep quiet, Toshi and Izuku’s first thought probably isn’t ‘hey this an aspect of OFA’ but Izuku’s original unnoticed quirk.

Izuku, insanely excited about Float but also incredibly disappointed: So OFA didn’t work? I didn’t get your quirk?

So starts this long train of AM and Izuku theorizing that Izuku is Nana’s secret grandchild (somewhere, Shiggy looks up from his videogames, feeling unexpectedly pissed off) and developed her quirk under stress. There’s tears, Gran gets involved and they all act like a big messy family and its nice

proceeds to take down more villains in increasingly creative and terrifying ways
