Shengsi, an archipelago of almost 400 islands at the mouth of China’s Yangtze river, holds a secret shrouded in time – an abandoned fishing village being reclaimed by nature. These photos by Tang Yuhong, a creative photographer based in Nanning, take us into this lost village on the beautiful archipelago.

I just had one short night in Xining and left for Lanzhou 3h bus ride far from Xining to ask for a second extension of my visa. In fact Lanzhou seems to be a pleasant big city, good mixture of skyscrapers and traditional chinese buildings divided by the yellow river. But as some of you might have read in my email I only struggled in this city, seemed not to be the most foreigner pleasant city. So this stay turned out to be three nerve-racking nights lonely in a hotel stumbling from one problem into another.
