      ★ | “Just a metaphor,” the boy explained, sparing a glance at a lit up screen, waiting for incoming updates of the situations around the city. “Fairy Tail set up a safe house in Sector Five, but its under attack right now. Keep up with the program.” 

“oh,” he breathes in relief, gaze darting to the screen the other was holding with mild curiousity. “Yeah - sorry - I just got here, so..” his hand goes to scratch at the back of his neck to express meekness, his voice apologetic. “if there’s anything you want me to do, please tell me! I’ll try my best to help.”

  Yona blinked, quietly gazing at his sudden appearance. The intensity in her stare lessened, thankful at his offer of assistance. Despite feeling wary, she did need a hand. “.. my ankle.” Pausing, she gestured at her right side. “I can continue walking, but.. if you could help me get to the academy, I’d be grateful.”

“oh.” he takes one look at her ankle - that must hurt - and nods his head, understanding. “I’ll carry you, but you’ll have to point me in the direction of this.. academy? I’m new and everything is rather.. chaotic.” 

he didn’t answer the first question, but Suzaku pretends he never asked it, figuring the other probably got here the same way he did. which he still had no idea of, in case the confusion of everything happening all at once wasn’t clear enough on his face. “Yeah, but why is it happening? What is this place? What is that?” an onslaught of questions he’d been keeping in is now directed at rolo, though the last one had him looking ( & pointing ) up at the sky.

      ★ | “The – nearest, safest, one is the heart of a storm,” he cautiously confessed the state of the sector five’s status, gripping the cellular device that’d been keeping him posted. “Everybody who can’t fight is holing up wherever they can until its over.”

“Sorry, could you um, repeat that? please?” it wasn’t that Suzaku didn’t manage to catch his reply, but he found it hard to process. he hoped the other didn’t mean a literal storm, but he waits for clarification anyway.
