Higher And Higher

I’m part of “Generation Z”. We have every piece of information at our fingertips yet not one of my friends knew about Iwo Jima. Ok, I admit I’m weird and obsess about certain battles and wars no one else does- but it pains me to think how little this generation knows about American history. We are nearing a time when all of our war veterans will be dead and gone and my generation doesn’t have a clue of the sacrifices made for our freedom.

I was talking to someone before work the other week and realized they have no idea where Vietnam or Poland are.

I haven’t been skiing or snowing in snow long... time to plan a spring trip!
