I feel like my art has stayed relatively the same over the years, it's just a matter of ambition and how much I feel like pushing myself on any given piece. That used to bum me out, that I wasn't really "improving" but I just do art for fun now, my commission days are over, so I don't really care anymore. In many ways I like my older art more because I used to draw for myself more. From 2020 and onward, most of my art was for other people. I'm happy to be drawing for myself again. I'm still not where I want to be with my relationship with art, but I'm getting there.

#I made no art in 2023 #it was greatly needed #2024 was also a rough year but anytime I did draw it was for me and that was healing #2025 has been my biggest year for art making since I quit in 23 #Hoping it keeps getting better from here #also yes ive had many usernames #zenaida came about in 2024
