I have my move in date; I’m going up there in a little less than two weeks to see the salon I’ll be working at & to meet my boss/coworkers (prolly gonna get rotary sushi 😋)

And then work my last shift at the salon I’ve been at for almost 7 years, pack up my jank, and go.

That all being said, change is hard sometimes and I’ll be adjusting to a lot of it, so I don’t want to make any timeline promises; buuut, I would like to come back here and continue working on things we’ve plotted out with whoever is still interested.

I’m taking a trip up to Chicago to do my stage day at the new salon, and then I will be moving the first week of September. Idk how long it will take me to get settled in, but I do want to come back here eventually 🩶

Anywho, your homie is stressed. A situation at work is escalating (which I’m moving in a month so that stress should go away soon), and I’m still trying to find an apartment.

I hope to make my comeback around here in September. In the meantime you’ll never be bothering me to message about muses and ideas or just to catch up on life.

Billy knew he was still a violent person but he didn't like how easy it came out in front of Luke. He didn't want Luke to see that. However when the guy wouldn't leave him alone, Billy took it into his own hands to teach a lesson. Once they were back at Billy's home, he let Luke take over to clean up his bloody and broken knuckles. " Are you okay? I'm sorry I lost my temper like that."

What does safe even mean anymore? She'd once thought being turned meant that she'd be invincible, safe from all who would seek to harm her. Yet, it seemed like once she was turned, the world created new and more insidious ways of hurting her. . . threatening her. It was exhausting. Her breath left her in a sigh, that later she would cringe at how melodramatic it must've seemed, blue eyes wandering up to search the other's, "You don't need to worry about me. I can handle this shit." What were a few more humans screaming that she was a monster outside the house? At least for now they seemed relatively peaceful, if not annoying. "They'll tire themselves out soon enough."

Did he mean it? Well, if he wanted to keep her safe, he certainly could make it harder for anything to hurt her. There was something about her that was different- aside from the not being human thing. Her spirit was strong, not weak like so many he'd haunted before.

There were many things that could haunt a person in a world like this. It had taken Tommy a lifetime to learn how to live with it all, instead of letting it consume him. He had the people around him to thank for it, really.

These nightmares, and emotional tides weren't new to him, he's seen them in every face he knows. Hannah's words paint a clear picture of where she’s at, mentally. The inability to let her guard down, because you never knew what would be around each corner.

Jackson was safe, but it wasn’t perfect.
