my father installed a program on my computer that turned it off at 10pm every night and didn’t allow it to be active until 3pm, took away all my electronics when he found out i was gay and talking to other gay kids online and making friends, took my door off its frames because i was bad and deserved no privacy, and ALSO when they wanted to keep me in my room, they shoved a couch up  vertically and barricaded me in my room for a full day (i was 10), AND installed another program on my computer that sent my father email logs of what i was doing and a screenshot of my screen every 10 minutes. I wasnt allowed to listen to music other than what they allowed me to have on the radio and never got me a cd player or anything of the sort even though they gave my sister all these things. They have taken my fucking light bulb to punish me because they had taken everything else i held dear only because i was arguing with them about how them beating and grounding me because i was gay and trans was wrong and fucked up. My father has physically beaten me, held his fist up at me, and threatened to kill me multiple times. he hasnt done anything like this to me in years and acts as if we’re completely fine and nothing happened, but I still remember, and I’ll always remember. I dont trust people as easily anymore because i couldnt even trust my own family. If i ever have kids and i end up like that, someone just fucking kill me because i never want to put another human being through the trauma of living with no privacy and with no safety.
