- Zayn is letting Harry make the decision on whether they continue or not. Harry is trying to convince Zayn that they should. -

COR: Now I see your tears on account of my wants, and now it appears. That I'm feeling guilty and worried, dear that you think that I might not want you here. Does all of this seem to be bringing us closer. Or am I back-seating your life. Judging while you drive?

Outside: Just you and me upon the roof. We didn't have much, but, yeah, we did it. Staring at the perfect view.
COR: But we see out the night with your head on my chest, me and you. There's only me and you.

Outside: Damn I really thought that we would make it.

As you can read, both songs talk about them reminiscing about their relationship, asking themselves to keep going with it or move on.
This is only speculation; I don't know if the songs were actually made with each other in mind or about their relationship.
