Finally got to see WASP on Friday night….a gig that got delayed like 3 years thanks to Covid. Was it awesome? Fuck yeh. Did they not actually play most of the tunes I like? Also yes. But we’ll worth the wait. On the way out of the venue however had a bit of a weird issue. Don’t get me wrong, I know that I stand out in a crowd. I was like 6’7 in huge thigh boots and head to toe in leather, silly makeup and hair etc etc. But it’s been a long time since I felt uncomfortable about how much attention I was getting. Picture every single person walking past to the exit (100s of them) staring at you intensely like you’re a piece of shit - normally I’d say it’s just paranoia but this was literal. It really freaked me out and being quite drunk and under the influence I started getting aggressive towards groups of guys especially who were all looking right at me.
