Sitting at the bar with my sweetie at our favorite bar and grill. We went for happy hour and dinner. There was a couple sitting beside us, on my side. The woman was singing loudly along with the music videos which are a feature of this place. However, she was badly butchering the lyrics to every song she sang along with, culminating with two back-to-back Nirvana songs, "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and "Come as You Are". Since Nirvana is one of my all-time faves, this was the straw that broke the camel's back. I turned to her and said, "The lyrics, they are out there, just google them." At her blank look, I added, "You are butchering them badly." I refrained, just barely, from adding, "And that guy you're with isn't into you at all, he's gay. Where is your gaydar?!" Seriously, get a couple of clues!
