I’ve been lurking in the Buddie fandom and recently decided to dive into the deep end. There’s nothing I love more than a mixtape, but tbh I think I skew a little older than a lot of fandom. I also don’t listen to the radio, so I am not up on new artists and song. However, I’m intimately familiar with pining songs from the 80s and 90s! I also got the itch to play with some fanart which I haven’t done in like 10 years.

The first thing that inspired it was the exchange between Buck and Athena in the 1st episode. I find it hilarious that Buck apparently has no knowledge of the musical stylings of TLC. (Even though he has a turntable apparently?) And if that is true, I doubt he was familiar with Whatta Man either, making it an extra insane song for Eddie’s introduction to the 118.
