Kind Turkish People

Before moving to Istanbul, I was hearing from different people that Turkish people don’t like to foreigners and if I don’t speak Turkish, they never respond you in polite way or they leave you.

Imagine, when I landed in Istanbul new airport with a very negative thoughts about people, how I was feeling?!

Omg! The airport was HUGE!!!! We walked towards passport control. The first look of Turkish people was a nice welcoming & warm smile from passport control police.

Then we came to the hotel and understood step by step people are smiling always and welcome tourism. 

After passing some days and start communicating with Turkish people, we understood every thing is opposite! We could communicate with Taxi drivers, Bakeries, Sellers, doctors and etc... very quickly and even if he had problem with Turkish pronunciations (Because we are Iranian Azeri), they also tries to speak in English. Even in metro when youths see my parents are standing, give their place to my parents... 

We understood they are very sympathetic people and welcoming foreigners.

Even now in we are getting to know our neighbors and every morning when we are leaving home, see smiling faces saying (IYI GUNLER) Means Good morning.

Now, I am very happy to start my life in this city in this country....
