we know kido dies first bc they're the first to visit azami, and azami realizes this is gonna be a thing now
kido was still wearing "fancy clothes" when kano meets them outside of the orphanage
kano is taken to the orphanage NOT immediately after his mom died, so idk why kido would still have fancy clothes all that time later (their house BURNED DOWN)
kano mentions seto's dog dying "last year" when he's establishing he's been living with kido&seto at the orphanage.
seto's dog died "last year" but since kido did die first, this mostly serves to establish kano and kido have been rooming there for at least a year. this is fifth novel so, most likely, it's a retcon by jin by saying kido is the first one later in the seventh novel.
so. did they all die the same day. yes or no. TALK TO ME.
IF they did, kido is established to have died at evening/night and kano in the evening. maybe kido dies during the night of august 14 but after midnight, so, aug 15, and kano during the evening so, azami had basically a whole day to prepare a speech in case anyone else joins too LMAOOOO. seto isn't established as we know but i imagine he dies second so we can have a neat 1, 2, 3.
