Gave one of my mains a design overhaul (i shaved his ass)
His name is still Ghlis, but I'll nickname him Rime from now on, to align his ingame character more with one of the main characters of my headworld.
Quick overview of his updated backstory and design details:
Norn, born and raised in the Shiverpeaks.
Rebel at heart. Idiot by professsion.
Elementalist with an affinity for ice and storms
Way taller than your average norn, and just grew more after becoming the prismatic champion. Gets bigger when he's angry or while channeling Elder Dragon magic.
Was supposed to be trained to become the next Havroun of Raven, but abandoned his studies to follow his own path. Eventually got tangled up in the whole Slayer/Commander/Wayfinder pipeline.
Inherently unstable. Every time he came in contact with a great source of magic, it left traces.
Coming in contact with the Wolf spirit allows him to shapeshift into a giant werewolf form. Also, his ears are now always pointy.
Had to do the Nevermore quest to seek forgiveness from Raven. They're on bickering-divorcees terms right now. The side effect is that his nails are now always sharp.
Becoming Aurene's champion allows him to tap into the other Elder Dragons' domains. He treats it as additional elemental attunements, though still has no idea how to effectively use them. Jormag, Primordus, Soo-Won, and Kralkatorrik are kinda easy because they already align with his elements somewhat, but Mordremoth and Zhaitan are beyond him.
He accidentally interrupted Kasmeer's spell that was supposed to unveil the Tower of Nightmares, and as a result he has a hard time lying. His tattoos keep shifting around depending on his mood, elemental attunement, or hidden thoughts.
Canonically bit a chunk out of Balthazar during PoF.
He'd love to use a greatsword, but his sword skills are terrible, so he has to rely on elemental magic for combat.
During EoD, he had to vomit every time he went near the Dragonvoid.
Somehow he is allergic to canthan jade. Makes him sneeze.
Envious of Baruhn's mastery over fire magic.
Bonded with Orrax over their shared love for food and mead. As a side effect, his tail is now permanent.
His hair color will change every now and then, not for story reasons, but because i have a permenent hair styling contract, and i WILL use it to match his hair to his outfit.
I imagine him magically summoning a skritt hairdresser with the contract, and paying them in shiny trophies he found during his adventures.
