my problem with farming sims is that i am someone who loves having an actionable goal in games so i don't do well when the goal is simply to Make Money. and when a farming sim doesn't have another plot (ie gain your dad's approval like in sos tot), i usually make my goal getting married. but then i get too impatient to have kids even tho i think the feature is cute... lmfao... bc i'm like I Won at farming sims why do i need to keep playing

tbh i like it when charas r mean to mc in video games, especially dating sims lmfao... i think it's more rewarding to win them over and bc it makes their ensuing affection feel more earned due to the effort it took to get there. it's also fun to see people challenge mc in general bc it makes for a more interesting story when there's friction/conflict

thank you lena for making shoh a fantasy bc i just imagined the damage chase could do if he had access to the internet and to the pockets of multiple gullible people

thinking........ a lot about qilan's soldier tendencies and inability to view herself as a person and only ever as a tool in service of a greater goal :thumbs up: all this when my girl should have been fishing off the coast instead
