First off, Allura is not dead

She has ascended to Godhood and is an all-powerful, mystical being like Bob

She watches over the universe with Lotor by her side and sometimes visits the other paladins

Keith and Lance got together some time after the war (I’d say they probably got together not long after that dinner in the last episode, and they’ve been a couple for some time by the second photograph)

They live together, but Keith still goes on Blade missions

That’s part of why Lance chose to get a farm; it helps ease the loneliness when he’s missing his bf

The other part is because Keith keeps bringing home stray alien animals to keep as pets because, “they needed a home, Lance!”

Lance: Keith, babe, why is your jacket zipped up?

Keith: It’s cold! Of course my jacket will be zipped up!

Lance: I have seen your jacket wide open in the middle of a blizzard, Keith. Why is it zipped up right now?

Keith:

Lance: Keith

Keith:

Lance: You brought home another one, didn’t you?

Keith: He was cold, and hungry, and scared! I couldn’t just leave–

Lance: OMG give him here jfc

Only one day, it’s not a stray animal Keith brings home

It’s a Galra baby

This time, it’s not a laughing matter

Lance is shocked, but before he can get a word out, Keith is explaining

Keith: They were going to let her die, Lance. The planet she was orphaned on still has a stigma against Galra, so they thought they’d be doing the universe a favor by letting her fall to the wayside.

Lance is outraged by the cruelty of it all and is instantly at Keith’s side, telling him he did the right thing and that they’d make it work

And, upon closer inspection, Lance has to admit that the baby is friggin adorable

On top of that, the idea that he and Keith are parents now just gives Lance a warm and fuzzy feeling inside

(Keith definitely felt this, too – all the way home, in fact – and he had a hard time keeping the fond and cheesy smile off his face.)

(Krolia teased him good-naturedly and pretended to chastise him for becoming a parent before becoming a husband.)

(Keith swore he’d rectify that soon.)

(He has the ring hiding in his knife drawer – oh not the drawer that holds silverware knives, no he has a drawer dedicated to the ornate and deadly knives he’d acquired over the years.)

(Lance never goes in there because the one time he did, he ended up needing Allura to heal an almost-completely-severed finger.)

(So, perfect hiding spot.)

Lance: So… I guess that makes us parents now.

Because he HAS to say it out loud, as if doing so will make it permanent

Keith: Yeah, we are.

Both of them have these lovesick dopey grins on their faces and it’s adorable but diabetes-inducing

The baby starts babbling lightly then and Lance, cooing, pokes a finger at her to placate her

She begins sucking on the proffered finger and Lance is swooning

Then she bites him

The tears of emotions pooling his eyes turned into tears of pain and it takes everything in him to keep the smile plastered on his face so he doesn’t scare the baby

Keith chuckles a little and eases the baby away from Lance’s finger

Lance’s head collapses on Keith’s shoulder with a relieved yet agonized sigh, and Keith laughs again because he’s a dick

Then the baby curls more into Keith’s chest like a cat and Lance swoons again

All is forgiven

They name her Luna

Keith also makes good on his promise and he and Lance marry before they’ve had Luna for even a year

Keith wanted the proposal to be absolutely perfect and romantic, like proposing in Cuba or on Valentine’s Day

Instead, it catches them both off guard

Keith walks into the kitchen one morning to see Lance cooking breakfast with Luna on his hip

He’s singing some kind of Spanish lullaby to her and at one point, nuzzles their noses together

Heart full to bursting, Keith comes up behind Lance and wraps his arms around his boyfriend’s waist

Keith: God, marry me

Lance just goes into shock for a moment, dropping his spatula, before spinning around and asking Keith if he’s serious because you can’t joke about this kind of thing

But when Keith tells him he’s serious, that the ring is upstairs and he’ll give it to him later, Lance bursts into happy tears

He’s smiling so widely, Keith thinks it must hurt, but then his own smile isn’t much smaller so he’s not one to talk

Lance presses forward to kiss his fiance – fiance! Keith’s his fiance! – but they break apart at Luna babbling

So they turn to her and give her mutual kisses on the cheeks, putting her into a fit of giggles

With her placated, the two turn back to each other, foreheads pressed together, smiling goofily at one another and giggling

Breakfast gets burned

They just decide to go out for breakfast – as a family

Sometime after their wedding (which was more on the perfectly planned side than the initial proposal), Kolivan shows up at their doorstep

Keith had taken an extended leave from the Blade to help raise Luna in her early years

So he was thinking Kolivan was going to put up a stink about it

But nope

Kolivan hands over a brand new Marmora blade and tells Luna’s dads that it’s for her when she’s old enough to wield it

Keith has to actively hold back his tears

Meanwhile, Lance hands Luna over to his husband and brings Kolivan in for a hug, whisper a thank you into his chest (the highest point Lance can reach)

Kolivan returns it tentatively, but at least he returns it, so Lance is satisfied

On their first Valentine’s Day as husbands, Keith attempts to cook Lance breakfast, Luna on his hip – much like Lance was doing when Keith proposed

He, uh, isn’t as proficient at this as Lance is

Yeah, breakfast gets burned again

Lance eats it anyway and says that Keith’s love sweetened it enough to make it edible

Keith is grateful to Lance for trying

They still go out for breakfast when Keith can’t stand to watch his husband choke down the literal charcoal on his plate

Lance still says it’s the best Valentine’s Day he’s ever had

On their first anniversary, Lance takes a good selfie of him, his husband, and their daughter

It becomes Keith’s phone wallpaper indefinitely so he can look at his family no matter where he is

Like guys hear me out.

If this isn’t a perfectly good excuse to have both Leakira and Klance in the same AU idk what is.

So basically Lance’s character is Leandro and Keith’s is Akira with other alternate characters for the rest of the gang

Leandro and Hunk’s characters being besties in the game just like Aech and Parzival.

Leandro being mesmerized by Akira on his motorcyle in the race.

Akira can’t stop staring at Leandro’s blue eyes and wondering to himself if they are that blue in the real world.

Keith uses the Oasis as an escape from his lack of parents and to avoid his problem.

Lance avoids his siblings and his family’s lack of money by playing in the Oasis.

Lance lives in Cuba and Keith is in Texas
