Zombies. Walk. Slow.

#undefeatedselflessact shoveling snow. It has snowed abour 6-7 inches in my area. I put up an "ad" on my FB saying I'd shovel snow for free. Nobody called so I set out to help all my neighbors. Some reactions i couldnt film but I tried my best. It was so gratifying and I was on the edge of tears each time when they kept saying I was a blessing/angel. I took no money but some insisted.

#undefeatedselflessact Today, I visited some local heroes and heroines and brought them something to show gratitude and appreciation. I’ve visited before and got them doughnuts. They said they were trying to eat healthier, but still received them. This time I got them some fresh fruit. I EVEN WENT ON RIDE ALONGS AND TRANSLATED. it felt overwhelming great seeing how suprised they were when I gave them the fruit.~ Kanye West said in a recent speech, “Imagine if everyone’s main focus, more so than going out to a club, their main focus was to help someone else.” Whether it is as a career or volunteering, these men and women have decided to make, give, and set apart some time from their lives to help someone else. Helping others is their main focus. You’ll see young people, young adults that attend college on a Friday night volunteering a shift instead of going to the club. These people that put the safety and well being of other first (and some on a daily basis) are people who are more deservant of the title “Hero/Heroine”. Superman and Ironman are great, in the comics. Just as you pay and spend time to go see the new Avengers, Spiderman (pay again to see uncle Ben die), Ironman, and Guardians of the Galaxy. Why not spend a fraction of the time and a fraction of the price (or more) by visiting and showing appreciation to these real life heroes and heroines. Imagine if we all focused our energies to encourage positive behavior and actions. This is what we need. I suggest we start by showing gratitude to the often overlooked and unsung heroes and heroines of our community.

Today is a day I go out my way and collect trash/plastics to recycle. I live in MD and my nearest recycling center is in Northern VA. After I picked some up almost 3 bags full, I went to drop them off. Why its important down in the comments
