What if, instead of voting for the person we want nominated, we voted who we didn’t want nominated? Like a Survivor-style trimming until only one candidate is left in the game for that party’s nomination. Each week we determine which candidate Americans hate the most (aka the least electable candidate for that party) and give ‘em the boot! Hell! Put them on an actual island. Give them presidential-related challenges. “Negotiate a treaty! Whoever gets the most foreign alliances this afternoon wins immunity for this week.” Who will make it to the end? Who will be the last man standing? The drama! The intrigue! I mean if elections are going to be reality tv might as well make it good.
