Okay, so, this is based off of a tiktok a saw of somebody being a little delulu a while ago, so enjoy my loves ♥️☺️
The board eraser slid around on the rough surface, cleaning off any chalk stains. Your teacher had asked you to stay back for a minute, just to help clean the chalkboard, preparing it for the next lesson which would be covered later on. As you cleaned, you couldn’t help but feel someone looking at you. Most of the class had left the room at this point, so you decided that the feelings of being watched that you had received were simply incorrect. That was until you heard someone getting up from their seat behind you.
You sighed. If Cartman was trying to get you to buy another bag of fucking cheesy-poofs for him AGAIN, you were just gonna slap him across the face. You could feel the person behind you now, watching down at you as you cleaned the board. The glimmering sun shone through the windows of the school, leaving a small, yellow tint in the room. Birds chirped outside, the small sounds reaching your ears due to the open windows. It was a pretty peaceful day, and you didn’t feel like putting up with Cartman’s bullshit.
That’s when suddenly, you felt someone’s arms wrap around you from behind. Their arms were slender, with their skin being pale. By the looks of it, they had a long, black, leather jacket on that seemed oddly familiar to you. Pausing for a moment, your eyes drifted downwards, studying the arms around your waist. Their right hand slowly moved over to your hip, rubbing it in a circular, gentle motion. It felt.. pretty nice, to be honest.
“Why do you always look like that?” A deep voice came from behind you.
You turned your head around and saw the oldest goth in your school. Micheal, you were pretty sure his name was. Micheal never spoke to you, but whenever you were in class with him, it was possible to see him glancing in your direction every now and then. He continued to rub your hip gently with his right hand, looking at you with an expressionless face and an eyebrow slightly raised.
“.. Like what?” You replied hesitantly, looking at him confusedly. What did that mean?
“I’m not sure myself, it’s just…” He sighed and looked out of the window, patting your hip gently, “Whenever I look at you, I can’t look away. Does that make me a conformist, or something…?” He grumbled, looking slightly annoyed.
“Yeah.” You teased him and grinned.
“Shut up…” He replied, giving you a cold look before letting you go and folding his arms, looking you up and down.
“What? Can’t take a little teasing?” You chuckled, eyeing him slightly.
He groaned quietly before putting his middle and index finger on your forehead, pushing your face away gently. You just chuckled in response as he walked out of the room quietly, wearing his usual blank expression.
You were walking through Stark’s Pond, holding a paper cup of hot-chocolate. It was a rather cold day, well.. cold-er than usual. Adjusting your scarf as you walked, you could sense someone watching you again. You immediately got reminded of Micheal’s weird behaviour, 2 days previous to the present. Then, you smelt cigarette smoke, gliding through the air past you. Letting out a small groan and turning around, it was revealed that Micheal was leaning back against a tree, wearing a warmer outfit than usual as he smoked a half-finished cigarette. You looked him dead in the eye.
“That’s bad for you, y’know. Lung cancer.” You nodded towards the cigarette he held in his right hand.
“Oh really?” Micheal replied sarcastically, rolling his eyes. He gave you a blank stare, “I didn’t know.”
You sighed at his sarcasm, “Why do you keep stalking me?”
“This is only the third time.” He replied, taking a drag of his cigarette.
“So you admit to it?” You gave him a stern look before realisation hit you. Third? Isn’t this the second? Did he… watch you without you even realising it at one point? Your eyes widened, “Wait, what do you mean thir—“
“Coffee, huh?” He looked down at your paper cup, interrupting you, “I thought you didn’t like coffee… I’ve never seen you drink it.”
You looked confused for a moment before realising that he had assumed that your hot chocolate was coffee.
“Eheh..” You shook the cup gently, “Not coffee. Hot chocolate.” Taking a small sip, you looked back at him.
He was just staring at you for a good minute or two before he snapped out of his small trance and kicked himself off of the tree, walking closer to you. He bent down and put his cigarette in his mouth, leaving it dangling from his pale, red lips for a moment as he let his hands clutch onto his knees. He smirked lazily.
“Why are you so tiny?” He moved one of his hands up to the top of your head, holding it tightly.
“Excuse me?” You replied offendedly, “I’m not tiny. You’re just tall.”
“Whatever helps you sleep at night.” He stood back up fully and put both of his finger by his cigarette, taking it out of his mouth before blowing the grey, cloudy smoke out right next to you both.
“Okay, whatever, Marilyn Manson.”
“Don’t even, you conformist.”
Valentine’s Day. In school. Great. You stood by your locker, opening it. A few meaningless love letters fell out, landing on the floor. Sighing, you kicked them away. They were pointless, and the guys were never that cute, to be perfectly honest. Other girls in the corridors could be heard squealing at the letters they got, along with a few guys cheering and fist-bumping the air in victory. Your last boyfriend confessed to you on Valentine’s Day. The issue was, he was very similar to any chick. He needed to grow a pair, and that’s why you broke up with him. “Clyde Donovan” was his name. Obviously, you still spoke to him and saw him around, but you weren’t dating him anymore. Thank god. But suddenly…
You flinched as someone roughly fell and let themselves rest against the locker next to yours. You didn’t even need to look over, as you had already guess who it was. Turning your head slowly, there you saw him. Micheal. Once again. His arms were behind his back and his expression was tired and annoyed.
“Micheal?” You mumbled, looking him up and down, “What do you want now? Come to stalk me some more? What are you gonna do next, steal my underwear?”
He just stared at you for a moment before raising a fist to his mouth, clearing his throat, “My mom told me that a good way of telling a girl you wanna go out with her is getting her flowers or something…” He muttered, looking away.
“What?” You became confused.
He moved his arms from behind his back, revealing a bouquet of flowers. They were a dark, slightly black red, and looked like something you’d get for a funeral. They were all wrapped together by their stems with a black ribbon and a skull pin, holding the ribbon in place. He held it out for you to take, “There. For you.”
You stared down at the bouquet for a moment before slowly taking the flowers, thinking about what he had said before and looking up at him.
“.. thanks.” You mumbled to him quietly.
He moved his hand up and patted your head gently before stroking your hair, “No… no problem.” He sighed, “I’ve never been one for Ken and Barbie love, y’know. But… I just…” He desperately tried to think of an explanation, “I just.. really like being around you.. and stuff… I’m know they aren’t very romantic, but they were the best ones I could find.” He nodded his head towards the flowers.
Sure, the flowers looked like they were for a funeral, but it was clear to you that he was trying his best. He was clearly trying to show you some sort of affection, but didn’t know how at all, so he just got you flowers. You looked down at them and smelt them. They smelt… wonderful. It made you smile and look up at him.
“This is really sweet of you… thanks Micheal. I’m charmed.” You grinned and chuckled softly.
He turned slightly red before giving you a thumbs up and and awkward smile. He leaned down and gave the bridge of your nose a soft kiss before quickly running off in embarrassment. You covered your mouth with your hand as you giggled softly. After a moment, you looked back down at your funeral-roses. You couldn’t help but blush to yourself and smile, trying your best to hold back a small squeak or squeal.
