Tradition and folk play a huge part in my practical work, I find the garish and over decorated inspiring. Boody ware caught my eye at the Tate Britain this summer, It being a north ester tradition dating back to the 1800′s, where broken and found objects were applied to a tin tray to create something out of nothing to be displayed or used. I decided early on to make my own versions of this but with more than just a tin tray, throughout my blog you can see that i have used things such as small pots, glasses and tea pots.
It has been a journey collecting all my resources with a majority of them being personal to myself and my family.
