Hi! You can refer to all of the mods on this blog collectively as The Microwave, but if you’re looking to individually reference someone, here is our modlist, composed of short intros detailing that mods preferred pronouns, name and a fun fact about themselves.

I’m Tomm! And I forgot to add my intro for a whole year since this blog was made, I’m the current manager of this blog, and as of now only moderator!

WHAT DO WE DO?

Here in the kitchen, we make stamps of your favourite characters going through a spin in the microwave! All of our stamps are 99x56px, so characters with more detail may be obscured. All of our stamps are free to use! Credit is not necessary but is appreciated!

We post three stamps a day! If your stamp is taking a while, that probably means we have a lot of requests!

Request requirments!

Basic:

Make sure the character has an official render from their source media, we will not use fanart for our stamps as to avoid art theft.

Media with suggestive scenes are okay, however do not request characters from media that is centered ONLY around smut.

You can send in multiple requests and requests for a group of characters, but please only ask for one stamp per request! And to make sure everyone gets a chance, try to space out your requests! We can do a maximum of 4 characters per one stamp.

Make sure to search your characters name on this blog to make sure they haven’t been done already before requesting! If your character has been done before, but you want a specific design of them you can request that!

Only send requests in our ask box please! Reblogs and dms are harder to keep track of, and please don’t use those to evade requests being closed ! ^.^

because of issues with transparent images and resolution, we will not do live action characters, sorry!

For Anon:

Use the characters full name and source media (I.E “Subway Masters from Pokemon”, as opposed to just “Submas”.). Please only use the character’s official or most popular name, rather than lesser known aliases (I.E “Sniper”, as opposed to “Mick Mundy.”)

For Non-Anon:

If attaching an official render, please also include the characters full name and source media for proper tagging. You can also just do their full name and source media! (* ^ ω ^)

It’s surely been a minute since I’ve started on blinkies, and I’d like to announce a hiatus! School and personal issues have us tied up at the moment, especially only with one mod, and the current amount of asks are a bit overwhelming.

You can continue sending in requests, but they will be attended to later on. I have been considering opening mod applications, but ultimately, I can’t do that right now.

We don’t discourage you from making your own, but we ask that you give us credit for the blinkies we post here because we still do make them by hand! We do have to use multiple websites to create them, along with aligning and cropping properly, and while it may not seem like a huge effort it is respectful to credit anyways ^^
