I really do think gay men just have an inherent sacredness to us. Homosexuality, in my opinion, is the most beautiful thing in the world. Our existence has a purpose, and I think we were meant to make the world a better place.

you can tell someone they're not equipped to care for an animal and then all of a sudden it's "oh so poor and mentally ill people don't deserve pets? you hate poor and mentally ill people?" like yeah actually if you can't afford the basic necessities or bother feeding, walking, and bathing them consistently, you shouldn't be owning an animal

"but it's so hard when i can't even take care of myself :(" okay? i also wasn't taking care of myself. i hadn't been taking care of myself for years, i still fed my pet, cleaned her litterbox, played with her, made sure she was healthy, happy, and clean. i owned her long before i had a breakdown and i wasn't about to let her suffer just because i was. if you're aware that your animal is not being cared for and you're not willing to or are unable to provide that care, you need to surrender them. you don't get a moral pass to neglect them just because you're not doing well.

The thing about being gay and a man is that society's problem with you is less about you wanting to fuck other men and more about you not wanting to fuck women and raise a family. But somewhere along the line every non-cis-het person decided that every sexuality label was just repackaged bisexuality because they cant fathom that a sexuality label helps define who you DONT want to have sex with as much as it defines who you DO want to have sex with, if not more so.
