Mirabelle chuckled at his half-smirk, half-grin, smiling slightly at the kiss. She stared at the ceiling, controlling her breath as she rubbed her eyes with the palms of her hands. “Well, obviously,” she laughed lightly, glancing over at him. “Yeah? I’m not vanilla, now am I?” She smirked, as she went back to staring at the ceiling.
Declan tilted his head to look at Mirabelle, her unknowing soft smile as she looked up at the ceiling being one of the most genuine and prettiest he'd ever seen. "No, not vanilla," he whispered before giving a chuckle. In honesty he was a little in awe, not particularly because of what they had both just accomplished but rather how wrong he had been of her.
