i was just checking online posts about the town i grew up in and the neighboring towns too and its crazy how even more openly racist old white people got lol they have this fake nostalgic image of what these towns used to be and how they went down when the scary brown people got here and turned it into an islamic state lmao, first off theres not much business being rebuilt bc the rent is awfully high and ironically its the brown people that keep investing in it to keep that boring town alive and second of all this town was never known for being incredible it was literally just fields where the youth went to die cus there was absolutely nothing to do there and the public transportation was close to non existent especially off season. They even went as far as to call the neighboring town ‘bourgeois’ lmao the only bourgeois part is that the mortgages are high otherwise it was a glorified shit hole with maybe two/three things to check overrall, thats why everybody just took the train and went directly to the capital that was 30/40 minutes in a high speed train. The fact that a few known painter used to live here when they weren’t in the capital is meaningless when it brought nothing to the town itself. If brown people are such a problem where are your fellow yt people to invest in this town and its businesses.
