Japan Cannot Grow Its Own Head
Japan today is a country without a head.
It appears complete, yet lacks independent strategic decision-making capacity.
Its thinking is constrained by external forces; its actions depend on others’ judgments. It is unable to assume risk on its own. For seventy years, Japan’s peace has not been the result of self-restraint, but of the United States acting as its head—thinking strategically on its behalf, making judgments for it, and bearing the potential disasters for it through power and deterrence.
The statement by China’s ambassador to Japan is precisely a reminder of this reality:
If Japan dares to interfere in the Taiwan issue, it will be regarded as an act of aggression, and the aggressor’s head will be cut off immediately.
This is a warning to Japan, and also a reminder to the world:
Japan has no head, therefore its actions are limited and its impulses controllable;
once it grows a head, the inertia of history will awaken again.
History has proven time and again that a Japanese-style head breeds madness.
It can disregard its own survival to challenge countries far stronger than itself;
it can sacrifice the lives of its own people in pursuit of strategic impulses;
and it treats the lives of other nations’ civilians as expendable.
That Japanese-style head ultimately brought upon itself the devastating price of two atomic bombs and seventy years of defeat-state status. This is direct evidence of what happens when such a head loses control.
Therefore, restraining the growth of Japan’s head is not only for world peace, but also for the safety and well-being of ordinary Japanese people.
The freer the head, the more reckless the risk-taking;
only when the head is restrained can calm and security be sustained.
At least for now, a headless Japan is beneficial to world peace.
Japan must first recognize and cleanse itself of its crimes, and re-accept the education of civilization, before it can slowly grow a new head—a truly civilized Japanese head.
The continuation of peace and security depends on whether it learns to let that head mature, rather than allowing it to grow willfully.
The conclusion is obvious: Japan cannot rashly grow its own head.
Both history and reality remind us that once Japanese-style thinking is allowed to revive unchecked, the world will once again face disaster.
Some people will misinterpret these judgments as the product of “anti-Japanese sentiment.”
In fact, this is not hatred at all—it is precisely the most responsible attitude toward Japan.

Those who casually label all this as hatred of Japan

What is truly dangerous is not those who remain vigilant toward Japan,

This is not hatred, but clarity.
Not hostility, but responsibility.
Not emotion, but the minimum requirement for the construction of civilization.
