In your opinion, for Heavy Metal Mater, would you have made Lightning a backup electric guitarist or keytar player? When I rewatched the short and listened to "Dadgum" again, I didn't hear a single keyboard. I guess the producers were going to make Lightning a guitarist, but remembered that he's a car and has no hands, so he was assigned a keyboard player.
hmmmm, I headcanon that McQueen actually knows how to play piano, but I would make him a guitarist. It fits more. (I went to rewatch the short and u're right, there isn't a single keyboard sound 💀)
