Yoda Brick

Been wanting this figure for a long time so I could finally make Lego Amaterasu. I only recently got to play through Okami and immediately fell in love with it.

Tremors is one of my favorite movies. I'm really happy with how these turned out. Built the whole lifecycle, one of the coolest things about this franchise.

These are all roughly mini-fig scale. Next step is to get a better face for Burt.

Aliens MOCs: Xenomorph Queen with eggs and Facehugger, and Ripley with Power Loader.

These are some of my absolute favorite builds that I've ever made. So happy with the power loader and was shocked how well the crab piece worked for the facehugger. Just perfect.

This is where I got the idea for the Xenomorph build, from Brandon and Taylor on flickr.

My Predator minifig. He's got all the gadgets, even have the smart disc just not pictured. And to show his gratitude here is an antique pistol.

The head piece is a scorpion mask from the Legends of Chima line. The body and head is one of the croc people from the same line.

District 9 Mech!

Been on a TMNT kick lately.

Made Kraang's mech suit, and it can fit the Kraang minifig. And then I needed the Turtle Van, with full interior, storage for their weapons, and pizza launcher!

I have finally been able to play through STRAY and now I'm a little bit obsessed. So I had to build some sets for it. So here is a life-size B-12 and some minifig-scale version of the main characters.

I always loved the Vulture Droids and their ability to transform into a walking mode. But they have always felt very stiff and clumsy to me with their long stilt-like legs. 

This is my interpretations with much more articulated and functional legs. It can still fold up into flying more and stand tall in its classic stance. But now when it's crouched it feels like much more of a threat. 

Nicknamed Mantis Droids, this version is specialized for planetary deployment. Able to provide both ariel and ground support. Its articulated legs allow it more mobility than the classic model that is specialized for space combat. The thrusters on its shoulder sections face downward while standing, initiating them in short bursts allows it to perform long leaps while pursuing prey or navigating complex terrain. 

They also can be utilized for stealth and ambush missions. Sometime squadrons of them are left clinging to asteroids or the outside of space stations in low power mode, waiting to pounce on passing enemy ships.

I absolutely Love the Tachikoma from Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. Such a fun design and characters.

I'm really pleased with this figure. I haven't built it yet but I'm really excited to field test it's stability. And a minifig can sit in the back just like the anime!
