Soda, I want your opinion on a few things....
I have a few tf2 ocs (based on my loadouts) and I dunno much about them yet. I'd love some suggestions, even if they're silly! Just random ideas even. I haven't characterized them beyond surface-level roles BUT they all need to be at least slightly military themed, mostly to allude to my username.
SCOUT - The same size as RED, but with a body type similar to BLU. He's not brawny by any means, but he's sturdier than one would expect. This Scout wears a motorist-type helmet and a pair of goggles. Unlike the others of his kind, he actually knows how to drive. He's also less annoying. He's definitely the lowest-ranking member.
SOLDIER - Similar in size and shape to his BLU counterpart. This Soldier wears a pot over his head, which is against protocol. (He must remove his hat whenever he's in the presence of a superior) Surprisingly, he's never attempted to rise in the ranks of his team. He sits comfortably in the middle.
PYRO - Larger and scarier. She's quieter than both her counterparts, and somehow clingier. They need to be with someone else at all times. This Pyro has a baggier suit, complete with a backpack and tool belt. She specializes in support, rather than offense. Lower in rank than Soldier, but higher than Scout.
DEMO - Similar in size and shape to RED Demo. He wears a beret-style hat (idk what it's called I'm sorry) and a lighter outfit. Less bombs more strategy. The biggest difference.... He's not an alcoholic. SHOCKER, I KNOW, but trust me. This Demo isn't as fun as his counterparts, and is mostly reserved. He's especially good at making split-second decisions. He's very high in the ranks.
HEAVY - Not much difference in appearance. His personality, on the other hand, is vastly different. This Heavy is a goober. He doesn't like to fight and does so only when directly ordered. He's not a burden to the team, but he doesn't necessarily help either. He wears a winter-type hat(haven't figured it out yet) and more layers of clothing. He's very low ranking, but higher than Scout.
ENGIE - A happy medium between the dad bod of RED and the chub of BLU Engineer. He's just as intelligent as his counterparts and shares the same temperament. This Engie doesn't typically fight on the battlefield, as he prefers to assist through comms and support, but he's more than capable of holding his own. Higher in rank than Soldier, possibly higher than Demo? He wears a tie!
MEDIC - Smaller and faster. He's as cheery as RED Medic. Idk if I wanna make him hotheaded or what. I do know that he's strangely naive??? If that makes sense. He isn't dumb though. He's a battle medic at heart, but doesn't neglect his healing duties. He has a beret and wears kneepads. Very high in rank, probably below Engie and Demo.
SNIPER - Broader in the shoulder area. He can carry more weight than both BLU and RED, but he's still very scrawny. He's more social than RED, but not as talkative as BLU. This Sniper enjoys messing with people. Hence why he, (this)Scout, and (this)Pyro get along. He's more tactically dressed. Middle rank.
SPY - Oh my God who is this guy??? He's like a whole different person. Still dabbles in extravagant fashion from time to time, but commits to wearing practical clothing at work. Very professional... And LOVES to gossip. He's a lot like his counterparts, but somehow snobbier. High in rank.
Each merc is a clone, so they feel and sometimes remember fragments of a life they never had. They were all made and trained by the Administrator's men, and essentially serve as the "Elite Team". They do hits for money and tie up loose ends, as well as exterminating larger threats(that the BLUs and REDs can't handle). I'm thinking of calling their team a color-themed name but idk yet.
