You gotta start going to bed and waking up at the same time every day for a start. Not a guaranteed fix but it’s 90% of most people’s problem. Their brain and body not knowing when it’s supposed to sleep. Getting into a good rhythm of your mind and body KNOWING when it’s supposed to shut down and anticipating it is what got me out of insomnia. Also for the beginning or people struggling particularly bad: NO CAFFEINE IN THE EVENINGS AND DONT LOOK AT ANY SCREENS FOR AT LEAST HALF AN HOUR BEFORE BED. Read, draw, take a shower and do some meditation/stretching, needlepoint, whatever. No phone. Also a huge difference for me in the beginning.

#FIX. YOUR DAMN. SLEEP SCHEDULE. IT #IS ENTIRELY POSSIBLE.#I USED TO GO 24-48 hours without sleep in school #napped whenever #slept at like 3 am regularly.#dogshit part of my life.#FIXING MY SLEEP SCHEDULE DRAMATICALLY IMPROVED MY LIFE AND HEALTH.
