🍼reassure them a lot. tell them they’re yours and only yours. vice versa

🍼call lots!! calling is good for a number of reasons; you don’t have to wait for them to text back and you bond through hearing each other

🍼text a lot as well, especially if you can’t call. communication is key!!

🍼send cute selfies and pictures throughout the day of things that remind you of them

🍼send handwritten letters or little care packages through the mail

🍼color for them (bonus point if you send them in the mail to them)

🍼ask for them to pick out your outfits, or for carers, pick out their outfits

🍼set up little dinner dates over skype or video dates on rabb.it (my personal favorite)

🍼compliment them everyday

🍼tell bedtime stories at night or record them for them to listen to later

🍼fall asleep on skype together

🍼give them little tasks to do (make their bed, color a picture, etc)

🍼remind them to do things to keep them happy n healthy (reminding them to eat, do hw, etc. etc.)

🍼tell them about your day. keep them informed on things in your life, it helps the distance not feel so far

long distance relationships can be so hard. trust me, i know. i miss my daddy all the time, but there’s 1050 miles between us. just remember you’ll meet them one day and it’ll be the best day of your life. there’s nothing better than holding someone you’ve loved for months for the first time. one day you’ll be able to hold them. everything will turn out okay in the end

one: do not message me saying hey, or message me period unless you’re sending pics/vids.

two: do not ask for me to send you anything, especially when you haven’t.
