Excessive amount of alcohol in your body can cause many impairments which lead to car accidents. If you are scheduled to go to a place where alcoholic beverages are to be served, try to take a taxi instead of driving your way to the place. If a drinking session is unscheduled, then just leave your vehicle behind and take a cab home or ask a sober friend with a vehicle to drive you home. A little inconvenience of taking a cab and leaving your vehicle behind is just too small compared with the fatal consequences of driving under the influence of alcohol.
