I don't think people slipping up on pronouns every once in a while signals that they deep down still see you as your former gender. I think when parents call their kids by a sibling or pet name it doesn't mean they deep down see their dog and child as the same being. I think muscle memory lives in the tongue and everyone slips some times and it doesn't mostly reveal anything deep in the subconscious. I think we need to let sigmund freud's students and disciples and implications go.
