All they had to do was shut down Byler when they were asked about it and that woulda been the end of it. Instead they decide to string everybody along all the way to the finale just to pull The Bait Of 87 and poke fun at us RIGHT at the end of the series, because they knew that queer people keep fandoms alive and knew Byler would be an effective marketing tactic to gain more (our) viewership. Or maybe they just lied for the love of the game, who knows. They wanted to make us feel like the stupid ones but we were never delusional. We just got played.

Funniest shit to me is how nobody is satisfied about this raggedy ass finale. Not Bylers, not Milevens, even a lot of the GA because the last four episodes contained nothing but plotholes and shit that went completely unexplained. They got EVERYBODY fucked up. Bitch HOW do you fumble so bad that YOU QUEERBAITED STRAIGHT MEN TOO. This shit needs to go down as one of the most colossal blunders in TELEVISION.

I wanna believe so bad that there is a “secret episode” and we’re all getting Vecna’d. But there fucking ain’t. I’m sorry. I have come to swallow the bitter pill and accept that these are awful people and they are too stupid to ever be able to come up with something as elaborate and creative as that because they just had to turn Mike into a miserable self-insert and knew that they could never compete with all the incredible and well thought out fan theories. This is truly how the show ends LMFAO.
