According to Deadline, Fjord has received a 12-minute ovation after the film's first screening at Cannes yesterday.

Officially Selected as a competition for the 79th Cannes Film Festival, the festival will happen between May 12-23, 2026. The exact date for the film's premiere and official screening is yet to be announced.
