Most of my inspiration comes from the Mafia games, retro aesthetics and the kind of quiet, sunlit moments that feel like they belong to another time. That's the feeling I try to bring into my sims, my worlds and the way I tell their stories.

Vintage summer in Tartosa ☀️

April steps in like someone who knows they're being watched - a little playful, a little too close, a hint of promise lingering in the air. The days grow longer, and so do the glances, and somewhere between the first dust of blossoms and sunlight that feels just a touch too warm, there's that quiet maybe.

When Plumboy first appeared in the 1950s, it was whispered about more than it was displayed. It was called improper. Questionable. A little dangerous. And perhaps it was.

Because it suggested something radical for its time: That glamour could belong to women on their own terms.

At the center of that early spark stood Celeste. The first Plumboy model. The original jewel.

She is not on this cover. Life, as it does, has drawn its own curtain. But every page that followed still carries a trace of her outline.

What began as something society side-eyed slowly became something it imitated. The very aesthetic once labeled “verrucht” began appearing in advertisements, in cinema, in the way women chose to present themselves - polished, playful, powerful.

The pearls came first. Poised. Composed. Assured. Then the jewels - brighter, bolder, refracting the spirit of each decade they touched.

Together, they turned a publication into a mirror. And sometimes, into a quiet provocation.

“The Dream of Pearls & Jewels” is not about nostalgia alone. It is about evolution. About how something once considered improper can become influential. How a glance can become a statement. How an image can outlive the criticism that greeted it.

Plumboy did not simply follow changing times. In its own way, it nudged them.

And every woman who stepped before its lens added another facet to the dream.
