i was and still do consider myself someone who is very aware of their emotions and know why they are feeling what they’re feeling. seeing the ending of slow damage was the very first time in my life where i could not understand why i felt the way i did. i remember i talked to my friend who also played slow damage but hadn’t finished it so i told them to and they didn’t feel strongly about the ending at all in fact i think they didn’t like the ending very much and i asked them “why do i feel this way about the ending?” and well it is a bittersweet mostly sweet ending with emotional music, but i have seen very emotional bittersweet endings before and i never felt anything near how i felt about slow damage’s ending. the only thing i could talk about for weeks was slow damage. nothing has destroyed me like this. and i still don’t really know why. i mean slow damage is obviously not the greatest story in the world but god. nothing has made me feel anything near this before.

also, i’m someone who gets really into things but then after a month of experiencing most of the available content i kinda completely forget about it even if i love it a lot. and when i think about it again im like ahh yeah i did like that!! slow damage was the first thing that keeps staying with me. even after months and months of not consuming almost any slow damage content my fervor and emotion for it is still mostly here.
