so you have your normal colored probe png right. its all colorful... but its colored WRONG!

to correct that, youre gonna want to make your little guy monochrome. so youll go on "hue saturation luminosity" and set the saturation down all the way

you can also change the contrast and lightness however you want.

but now theyre sad and gray! unless gray is the color you were going for but im assuming not. dont worry! this is the part where we make them colored

youll make a layer thats entirely your probes text color (ill make it orange because i like orange) and set it to cut

now youll press the mix mode (idk how its called in english) and set it to however you like

you can also go back a few steps if youd like and make your gray probe a bit lighter or darker depending on how close you want the color to be

thats it! now you can save it as a transparent png and do whatever you want with your newly colored space buddy! yay!!
