Like no. This girl has lost literally everything dear to her but her mother, this girl has gone through hell and she was still alive. That in itself is the mark of serious strength.
Yeah, she didn’t thrive in the storm around her, but she managed to stay rooted even after tragedy after tragedy tried to tear her apart.
Yes, she was nearly consumed by the storm sometimes.
Yes, she definitely didn’t make the right choices on how to deal with that pain.
Yes, she refused to pretend she was okay and frequently talked about how unfair it all was.
And that’s what’s amazing about Chloe Price. She’s not a good person, she’s not a bad person. She’s a person. She has hopes and dreams, loss and grief, she’s deeply flawed, she makes the wrong decisions, she doesn’t know what to do, she’s alone and drowning in sorrow, she’s blaming the world instead of herself, but at the same time, she makes the right decision when it really counts. She looks outside herself, away from her pain and grief, and that’s when she can finally, truly, see. She can see the right choice to make. Finally.
