SIGNAL BOOST FOR CAT IN NEED OF A HOME!
Today I worked with a cat that broke my heart. It’s hard as hell to make me cry but this cat did it. She’s a 3 year old girl who was spayed in the shelter but her stitches came out so they had to restitch her. She’s in a cone and has a bad kennel cold (I’m not a vet but it looked like a bacterial infection) which has her nose all yucky. She’s absolutely miserable and though she’s ready to go home today people never want to adopt a sick-looking cat.
When I worked with her she was desperate to be held, she was pressing herself against to feel warmth, it was heartbreaking. It was hard for her to let me take a picture because all she wanted was for me to hold her.
She’s being held at the Orange County Animal Services. PLEASE PLEASE, if you have it in your heart to adopt her or even foster her until she feels better PLEASE contact the OCAS! She’s $40 to adopt. She’s been in the shelter since Oct 13 and here is her profile
